The Panzer II (or PzKpfw II) is a second generation light-tank deployed by the German Wehrmacht during WWII. It saw widespread service across all fronts.

Call of Duty 2Edit

The Panzer II appears throughout Call of Duty 2, and is the main tank that the player faces. The player first encounters the Panzer II in the Russian campaign level "Repairing the Wire" (it first appears in "Demolition", but cannot be destroyed). The Panzer II will also reappear in the British and American campaigns. Despite being a light tank, the Panzer II is still well armored and requires rockets and explosives to destroy. Always be cautious when fighting a Panzer II and watch your health.

TriviaEdit

• The Panzer IIs in the African missions, as well as "Defending the Pointe", were colored in light tan, but it can be mistaken as white just like the African M4 Sherman. This is most apparent in "Crusader Charge" and "88 Ridge".
• The Tiger replaces the Panzer II as the common German tank after "Defending the Pointe".
