The People's Republic of China (Simplified Chinese: 中华人民共和国, also referred to as the People's Republic, the P.R.C., or China) is either a deuteragonist or antagonist country in the Strike Force parts of the Call of Duty: Black Ops II campaign, as well as a co-existing global superpower in 2025, along with the United States of America. In Call of Duty: Ghosts, China was under influence of the Federation which eventually led to the involvement with Ghosts in an unknown Chinese village sometime during 2027. In Call of Duty: Black Ops III, China is a member of the Winslow Accord.

Call of Duty: Black Ops IIEdit

The Cold War between America and China was caused by a massive cyberattack that crippled the Chinese Stock Exchange by hacked U.S. military drones controlled by Raul Menendez. Based on actions the protagonist performed during Dispatch, China could either be a friendly or hostile nation towards the U.S. determined by the existence general Zhao.

China also appears in Zombies, as Die Rise takes place in Shanghai, China.

Call of Duty: GhostsEdit

Battle between Ghosts and the Federation takes place in the multiplayer map Dynasty as a feature of the Nemesis DLC pack.

Call of Duty: Black Ops IIIEdit

After the Second Cold War, China is allied with the United States in Winslow Accord.
