Background
The Pre-Invasion of Sicily was a top secret mission conducted by a group of SAS Commandos who were ordered to sabotage the large battery guns and their magazines on the coast of Capo Murro di Porco, Sicily.
Aftermath
The sabotage was a success, but returning back to the ship was the toughest objective for the SAS to achieve. While the SAS members were taking their leave, the SAS were ambushed by a Panzer tank; blowing up the Kubelwagen that carried Hoover, Luyties, Denny and Moditch. Sgt. Doyle and Major Ingram were the only SAS members to survive; only to be chased through the town. Sgt. Doyle and Major Ingram were supposed to rendezvous with their boat, but it got destroyed. They quickly boarded a German PT Boat and made their escape, but they had to destroy enemy PT boats in order to finally escape from Italy.
