"Hijack an enemy turret or robot's control systems and pilot it remotely. The hijacked robot can only operate within a limited range."
— Description

Remote Hijack is a Control cyber core in Call of Duty: Black Ops III. The player is able to hijack into enemy turrets and robots to control them shortly. These include the A.S.P., P.A.W.W.S. walkers, Talons, Hound, Cerberus, and R.A.P.S. units. There is a twenty second delay between uses.

Once upgraded to Enhanced Remote Hijack, it decreases the amount of time it takes to hijack ASP and P.A.W.W.S. walkers, which are largely considered the best targets to hijack.

Gameplay

Remote Hijack is one of the best and most versatile cores in the campaign, and is ideal for long-range combat as well as getting the upper hand on enemies. When activated, the player is automatically cloaked until the piloted robot is either destroyed or disconnected.

In sticky situations, airborne Talons can be hijacked and used to clear areas of enemies. This can also work on stationary turrets; mobile ground robots such as Hounds can be used for similar purposes. Friendly robots can be hijacked as well.

When upgraded, Remote Hijack can be borderline overpowered, especially if an ASP unit or P.A.W.W.S. is controlled. Although rare and somewhat tricky, it is possible to hijack and pilot a R.A.P.S. if the hack is timed correctly.
