The SOG Knife is a knife that appears in the mission "Victor Charlie" in Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

Mason, Woods and Reznov use the knife to kill Viet Cong silently.
In multiplayer it appears while using the Ballistic Knife.
It is mainly used during one part of the mission "Victor Charlie" to kill certain enemies, usually in scripted events. Once the player is given a weapon, it will then be replaced with the standard knife. It acts as a main weapon in half of the level "Victor Charlie" and has the same power as a regular knife, being able to kill in one hit.
This weapon is also available as an Emblem, in the Emblem Editor in Multiplayer.
Call of Duty: Black Ops IIEdit
In the mission "Pyrrhic Victory", Raul Menendez used the SOG Knife in an attempt to stab Alex Mason but Mason quickly countered his attack and shot him in the eye. And in the beginning of the mission "Suffer with Me", Woods uses a SOG Knife which can be thrown at a soldier holding a flare gun. The SOG Knife isn't seen again.
TriviaEdit
- In order to get the "Up close and personal" achievement, the player has to use this knife to take out three guards. The player has to kill two of them and the third one is located sleeping in a bed to the right in a hut that Mason and Woods pass through.
- The blade of the knife has twelve tally marks on it.
- If one switches from the SOG knife to another weapon and back again, the knife will go through the players fingers.
- If the knife is dropped for another weapon, it cannot be picked up again.
