Corporal Scott Riley is the main character of Call of Duty: United Offensive. He was an NCO in the 101st Airborne Division, 506th PIR, Baker company, playable in the American campaign of Call of Duty: United Offensive.

[edit] Biography

He fights in Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge along with the rest of the 101st. At the beginning of the game, Riley is on a patrol with Sgt. Moody and Pvt Ender when they encounter a German attack force heading for Bastonge. Nearly everyone in the patrol is killed. 4 out of 8 men were killed, while Pvt. Joey Martin was injured by a tank shell and went missing. But, Sgt. Tom Moody, Cpl. Riley, and Pvt. Ender who survived the ordeal, quickly race back to allied lines to warn the CO, Cpt. Foley. Moody and Riley then move to the foxholes to help hold the line until armored reinforcements from 3rd Army arrive.

Cpl. Riley then takes part in a night attack to rescue some captured paratroopers and take a crossroads in preparation for the attack on Foy, not to mention that he also participated in a raid to disable a PaK 43 battery that he ran into several days ago with Sgt. Moody and Pvt. Ender. The next morning, Riley's unit takes part in the attack on Foy and eliminate several key targets in the battle, destroying Tiger tanks and breaking off several counterattack launched to Foy by the Germans. He and his units were accompanied by tanks from 11th Armored Division, which the tanks were obliterated by the Germans by the time they reached Noville. Later on he joins Capt. Foley in the capture of a German held Mansion in Noville, and holds it against a large counterattack of Tanks, Halftracks, and German infantry of 2nd Panzer Division until P-47s arrived to finish the job. It is not known if he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, but it is known that he served with his Division until the end of the war.
