"Select a location" is a cut "weapon" in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
In first person, this "weapon" is invisible, but, it can be seen if the player uses cg_gun_x 50 command. The 1st person appearance of this weapon is AK-47 held with one hand. The 3rd person appearance of this weapon is an AK-47, as viewable when dropped or with the command /cg_thirdPerson 1.
Due to the name of the weapon, and its peculiar yet appropriate pickup icon, "Select a location" seems to be a very early Tactical Insertion.
It must be noted that this weapon gives a small insight into the melee style of Call of Duty 4, which introduced the knife. When the melee is seen from third person using the command /cg_thirdPerson 1, the player can see that instead of the knife being used, the gun is used to melee, as per the older Call of Duty games. This suggests that the original melee attack was going to be used at first, instead of the knife.
