"Raiding the Fortress"
Edit
On 23 January 1943, the PPA engages in a raid on an unnamed Roman fortress nearby the Tunisian village of Matmata. During the attack, Corporal Harold Snyder, a cartographer with the unit, is captured and Sergeant Jack DeHart, along with Private Allen Rowe, are tasked with rescuing him. However, both men are pinned down by enemy fire; they are rescued by demolitions expert Edward Carlyle, who breaks through the Afrika Korps position and links up with the pair in an ancient watchtower. Once they have been rescued, the trio are joined by Privates David Tuey, Short and Senn, who join in the attempt to rescue Snyder.
Trivia
Edit
- Senn, Tuey and Short may all be killed while attacking the northern archway. If they survive, however, they do not follow Carlyle, DeHart, Snyder and Starkey in escaping through the tunnels.
