Sergey was a Russian Ultranationalist. He appears prior to the events of Modern Warfare, during the 1996 assassination attempt on Imran Zakhaev.
Sergey and one of his companions patrolled a remote area outside Pripyat. Sergey's companion complained that they were patrolling a deserted area, but Sergey replied that they were being paid good money for their services. They continued to patrol, but were both shot dead by the SAS snipers.
