Shipyard is a very large multiplayer map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized based on a shipyard (hence the name). Many players use the SAS faction, because at long ranges, they are difficult to see due their darker clothing.

Tactics

The crates scattered over the entire map can be used for cover. Long-ranged weapons are preferred due to the size of this map.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance

Shipyard returns in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance, revamped from its previous incarnation.

A large-sized map, Defiance's Shipyard is much larger than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized's incarnation. Featuring two buildings on both sides of the map, a much larger field, open containers for navigating through and/or hiding in, and a potential sniper nest accessible by ladder.

Trivia

The calendar.

• In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized, this map is the only multiplayer map that takes place during night.
• In both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance, in one of the shipyard building offices, a calender with a low quality rendered cover girl can be seen inside.
