Support is a multiplayer character class that appears only in Call of Duty 3.

This class starts with a Machine Gun that can be set up on the ground to rain down fire on the opponents from a stationery position. Support also has the ability to drop ammo packs to refill allies' weapons. After achieving higher ranks, the number of ammo packs Support class can drop increases. One must wait until the Special Ability meter fills before dropping another ammo pack.

Support is most effective against moving cars because they probably won't have enough time to move out of the way as an infantry soldier would. It would be best to use it on a motorcycle if one could corner it or if they had it go on a long road without any getaway routes. Nobody should ever use a support class to try to take out a tank because one might run out of ammo before it even starts smoking. But you could uses your machine gun to draw fire away from an Anti-Armor teammate. The best place to setup would most likely be in an upstairs house in a window or behind a fence where most of your body is covered by wheat.
