The T-90 is a main battle tank that appears in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Ghosts. It was cut from Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3[]

T-90s are the Russian military's most common tank, first appearing in the introduction to the mission "Goalpost" where a column is seen during coverage of the invasion of Europe. They appear in the mission itself opposing the advancing American forces, with several being destroyed as the M1A2 Abrams tanks advance. They are seen throughout the level "Bag and Drag", with an endless column of T-90s rolling up a road partway through the level until the player moves close enough to trigger it stopping. They later appear in "Eye of the Storm", engaging Czech Resistance fighters; in this mission, they cannot be engaged effectively since the player has no suitable weaponry.

As the American force advances in Germany they appear again in "Scorched Earth", opposing German Leopard 2 tanks pushing into the city; three are painted for an A-10 Thunderbolt II airstrike by Derek "Frost" Westbrook, and later another is seen on a bridge attacking the German column; here, the player can destroy the tank.

T-90s also appear in Special Ops mode; in particular they are seen as enemies in Invisible Threat, Little Bros, and Iron Clad.

The T-90 has three main weapons; the main gun, the coaxial gun, and the commander's heavy machine gun; sometimes the latter is not actually fitted. Typically, a T-90 will only fire its main gun at scripted times, while the coaxial weapon can be used against the player if the tank is hostile and aware of them. The commander's HMG, if present, is manned by a soldier; killing him will prevent the tank from attacking with the weapon.

The subject matter of this article was cut from the final version of a Call of Duty game. Since some information cannot be independently verified, the content on this page may be subject to change.

The T-90 appeared in beta version of the mission "Cordis Die" where they block the President's convoy from advancing down the street during the Menendez's drone attacks in Los Angeles. Instead of attacking, they take an alternate route to the evac point. However, in the final version, they do not appear.

Call of Duty: Ghosts[]

T-90 appears in Call of Duty: Ghosts as the updated variant T-90MS. It is seen in several levels, first of them being Legends Never Die, where they destroy two M1A2 Abrams tanks. Later they are confronted in much larger number in the level "Severed Ties", where player is controlling the Abrams tank in order to reach and destroy Federation ground array.
