Tokarev TT-33
From the Call of Duty Wiki
The Tokarev TT-33 was developed by Fedor V. Tokarev. The first model, TT-30 of which only a few thousand copies were made, was modified and in 1933 the TT-33 came out. This new version was simpler to produce. The contraction TT-33 is for Tula Tokarev model 1933. The semi-automatic pistol developed by Tokarev 1933 was manufactured in Tula 150 km south of Moscow.

The TT-33 is the Soviet's pistol of choice in United Offensive. It has eight rounds in its magazine and has mediocre accuracy and does average damage. Don't use this unless the magazine in your primary weapon is out and you don't have time to reload.
However, this weapon can be very valuable for a bolt-action user that need to get through a tight space. Since bolt-action rifles are difficult to use in close quarters, a pistol will give a player enough firepower and firing speed he needs to get through a building alive.

Exactly the same as it is in CoD:UO, although iron sights are different.
[edit] Call of Duty: World at War
The Tokarev TT-33 is a standard pistol. It has slightly slower reload than other pistols when reloaded mid-magazine, but it has a fast empty reload. This side arm is used mainly by the Soviet Red Army campaign as a starting pistol for each mission. The Tokarev TT-33 is unlocked at level 21. The pistol seems to not have any visual recoil when firing from the hip. Firing with the iron sights will make the recoil more visible.
[edit] Trivia
- At the beginning of the level Promotion in Waw (DS), a Russian officer who is briefing you is carrying a Tokarev TT-33, which he uses to kill a fleeing comrade. This is the only time a pistol is used by someone other than the player.
- There is a mix-up for the sound files for the TT-33 on DS, the weapon sounds like the Webley Mk IV revolver in Campaign and Quick Play. However, this problem is not present in multi-player.
- In Call of Duty: Finest Hour, during the first mission, the guy on the boat can be seen using the TT-33. No Pistol can be used or obtained in-game
