Hired Gun is 10 kills by shooting C4, Reversal of Fortune is 10 kills by shooting Claymore, and Tag! You're it! is 5 kills with thrown back grenades. They are all be confirmed by me. I did each one of them the other night.

I have put a lot of time in this game, i've got all the challenges, all the acheivments, im 10th prestige 70, and i have all the emblems except the spinning skull, you can not get it yet without getting in a j-tag lobbie.

THE ONLY WAY TO GET IT IS TO MOD IT!

I saw someone with it today that wasn't 10th prestige. I'm sure that all that have got to 10th then got it is due to the fact that they are just obsessing over getting to 10 too much to complete all the prestige section challenges as they reset each time.

All you have to do is become 10th prestige level 70 and complete every prestige challenge. its as simple as that...

No your wrong! You don't need to be 10th prestige, all you have too do is be 1st prestige or higher and do all of the prestige challenges, no need too be 10th prestige........

To get the emblem you just have to be a 10th prestige (10th 1-70) and have all prestige challenges done, even the gun challenges. Also, if your wondering people have been saying that you have to have EVERY SINGLE CHALLENGE on COD4 and COD MW2, and YOU DO NOT NEED ALL CHALLENGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I now have figured out how to get the spinning skull emblem. You must get 500 headshots with every weapon excluding launchers, but for the launchers you need to get 500 multi-kills (which can be double kills and up) with each one, but for the Stinger you have to shoot down 500 helicopters, which will be a nuisance, plus the rest of the prestige challenges. You can boost headshots in cage match but the multi-kills with the launchers and shooting down 500 helicopters will take time. You do not have to be 10th prestige to unlock this, as I am only 4th prestige and have gotten this emblem. And yes I do boost alot. thats all wrong its a hack to 10th prestige u get all titles and emblems and every gun, fall camo

I believe that you have to be 10th Prestige lv70 and have every "Prestige" Mission including the gun challenges. I will attempt to complete this and I will edit this for results later.

All of you are wrong, i have completed every challenge in the game and havn't gotten it. You have to complete all challenges once the new maps come out in the spring. When the DLC comes out the emblem becomes unlockable but very hard to unlock PLAK5

Well PLAK5, you obliviously boosted your way to where you are but thats besides the point. I believe that the man below MOOO has the emblem, the emblem would not be in the game if you had to wait to unlock it, you cant add to a game program once it has been created on a disc without re-laying over it. Making it impossible for the emblem to be "unlockable" after the maps come out. Maybe your just an idiot who hacked his way up i dont know, but if you hacked to 10th prestige OR JTagged yourself you cant get the emblem until you gain all the points normally needed to reach 10th prestige. that much i know for fact.

Everyone needs to stop editing the golden skull emblem on the Callsigns page. It is unknown how to get it. All these answers are RUMORS. KEEP THE 10TH PRESIGE GOLDEN EMBLEM AS UNCONFIRMED! I will just keep changing it back.

To get this emblem you have to either buy it with a everything lobby which gives u all titles and embles once u change your eblem from the spinning one you lose it for good. The only other way to get the emblem is to be a current member of IW. -AP3N11-

Okay i just spoke with an IW representive on the matter. The emblem is un-obatainable at the moment for non IW workers, unless modded. They will be correcting the mod and reseting those accounts as soon as they creat a patch. The emblem will be obtainable from a secret challenge such as 6fears7 or STD/Infected once the new maps are released.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS TO COMPLETE ALL PRESTEIGE CHALENGES!!!! I have talked to a person from Iw and he said that the emblem was unatainable unless your from Iw or u modded it. He said they are going to create a challange to unlock it. They will release the emblem in either one of the DLC maps. -Sk265

I've actually seen someone with this emblem (he's a modder but he's also an honest guy) and he says you need to join enough tenth prestige lobbies to unlock it. Don't know what that means properly myself but I thought I'd let you all know. This is also my first time saying anything on wikia, ammidoinitrite?

I asked a player that had it and he said you have to complete all the Prestige challenges. I asked him if it mattered what Prestige you did them in (because the bottom 5 or so reset) and he said no. Here is currently my input on how to Obtain this emblem, and remember, it's all hypothetical.

• Complete all Prestige challenges, not just the subsection in the Challenge menu, but all Green-Highlighted challenges unlocked after prestiging for the first time.
• As stated above, it could involve a secret challenge, since we all know that there are numerous challenges not listed in the Challenge menu. What this challenge could be, who knows.
• It could be part of future DLC, as we've all seen the hidden game mode "Global Thermonuclear War", in which could also be part of future DLC. Infinity Ward did state that there were going to be two future DLCs for Modern Warfare 2.

Since everyone seems to be fixated on my first theory, I'll say that that theory might be the one, but no one is sure. My 2 Cents.OmegaBlade 15:30, March 28, 2010 (UTC)

Golden Stinger TitleEdit

The title under RPG-7, Stinger with the golden skulls - How would you get it? I would think there is a silver one for 2500 killstreaks shot down, but there is no "headshot" replacement for the stinger.

There is also one for the Stinger which looks like 250 headshots:

If anyone is even close to completing the first prestige challenge for stinger, it would be very helpful to sort this out.

I have yet to see anyone close to unlocking the FIRST challenge for the Stinger Prestige, so maybe when you complete the challenge, you get both titles associated with 500/1000/2500 helicopter kills. Of course, like I said, I have yet to see anyone get the First Stinger Prestige title. OmegaBlade 11:33, January 27, 2010 (UTC)

You can't get multi-kills with a stinger (since you can only shoot helicopters). It just doesn't have a master prestige challenge.Crimmastermind 23:35, January 27, 2010 (UTC)

My buddy got over 500 shot down with the stinger and only got the grey slate title.

I can confirm at 500 helicopters you get the grey slate title (non headshot one). Just shot down my 500th today. Took me forever... - shnks 3/3/2010

PS. While we are on this subject, has anyone shot down 1000 helicopters (next step up from the post I made one line above)? I'm working my way there, but it takes time, I'm around 700, just curious what title comes next. I assume its the grey slate headshot one, can anyone confirm? I can confirm it is possible to get a multi kill with a stinger (two harriers etc.). But i'm not sure if this corresponds to this title. I've gotten around 7 of these multi kills (most were harrier-harrier or harrier-pave low) they are pretty damn hard :/.

Has anyone been able to confirm that you unlock the treasure chest emblem for stealing 200 care packages? The big bada bom and the kill for good is not only unlocking by RPG it works also with at4-hs

Any package works (carepack, sentry pack and emergency airdrop packs), you have to get the "+100 Hijacker!" to count. If you don't get the +100, then it doesn't count.

Hired Gun IS what it says...I confirmed it last night. Just play Domination and put C4 on the objective, wait then shoot the C4 to blow it up. After 10 kills I got the title, after 20 kills you get the pacifier emblem. Gamertag is JLacey585.

You only got the pacifier after getting 10-20 multi kills depending on color or the pacifier

The statement about the Italian flag being the wrong way is wrong as it is the Cote d'Ivoire flag not the Italian flag.

I'm pretty sure that the Italian flag comment is correct. The Italian flag AND the Irish flag are backwards. I though at first it was an Ivory Coast flag too, until I noticed the Red-White-Green flag above it. Since there's no country with a Red-White-Green flag and since they appear amongst the other European flags, then the Italian and Irish flags are backwards. Therefore, I feel that Title 315 should be renamed from "Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) Flag" to "Ireland Flag" and that a comment about it being backwards should be made alongside the comment about the Italian flag being backwards. As for the other info, I'm not so sure since I have not tested this out. For the Stunner/Flash Prestige titles, they are inverted ingame. Why Infinity Ward made it like this, I don't know. I can confirm that the titles are flipped since I have gotten Stun Veteran 2 3rd Prestige and getting the Flash Veteran tittle. I don't mind keeping them, but it is not really necessary because the table is in numerical order already according to how they are listed on screen. No, I really meant it. I sure takes long to copy everything (titles until gallery / about 40sec), but if you want to print that, it's like 40+ pages... (50+ when printing directly from browser)But if you delete all pictures (takes about 1 min) you end up with 13 pages, which will get even less when you delete allready recieved titles and emblems. This is what I call printer friendly ... unless you really want to print all pictures (the reason why I print this, is because Infinity made sure you can't alt+tab when gaming ...)(But maybe he's whining about the 40sec? Try pressing the windows key. I know there is a shortcut on macs, not sure what it is. Not sure on linux. Also you can try Ctrl+Alt+Delete and start the task manager, then right click on your browser and do "Switch to" or "Bring to front". I also found that for Windows 7, you can ctrl+alt+delete and as soon you click start task manager, you need to click alt+tab. This usually works after 2 tries. ~GotJah^

Both "look no hands" and "the automater" titles are both listed as being rewarded by 50 sentry gun calls or kills. I think "the automater" is listed as being rewarded for the same description as "look no hands", so how do you get the "automater" title?

The "automator" title is for calling in 25 sentry guns i think, and i no the "look no hands" title is 50 kills with a sentry gun

The Grim Reaper Title Edit

I just got the "The Grim Reaper" title but not with a single Predator Missile, but with two Predator Missiles in the single match,

My first Predator Missile was a double kill than i was killed.

So that allowed me to get a second Predator Missile and that got me a triple kill

In total a Kill of five Enemies with two Predator Missiles

Instead of "Challenge: "Grim Reaper" - Kill 5 Enemies with a Single Predator Missile "

I did the same.

I did this as well, I killed several people throughout the match with predator missiles. It unlocked for me after getting a double kill with it and the only way I figure that could be is I killed 5 people in that match with it. I can't help but wonder if this works with "Carpet Bomb" and the challenge for 6 kills with a single stealth bomber? -Offspring25836

I came across this yesterday while doing some more research on the missing emblems:

The following MW2 emblems are today (12/30/2009) still unknown or left blank by Wikia when it comes to how to get them, but not to me anymore. Oké let me be so kind to share this information with everybody:

[1] "Birdbrain" emblem = challenge Helicopter inbound III (call in 1000 armed helicopters)

[2] "Pirateflag" emblem = prestige challenge Flash Veteran IV (Kill 300 enemies while they are flashed)

[3] "Treasuremap" emblem = challenge Airstrike inbound III (call in 1000 Precision, Stealth, or Harrier Airstrikes)

[4] "Treasurechest" emblem = secret / hidden challenge Hijacker III (steal 200 enemy crates) The tricky part of this challenge is that Hijacker I (steal 10 enemy crates) will only unlocked at level 7 and Hijacker II (steal 50 enemy crates = title "Bounty Hunter" will only unlocked at level 10 and Hijacker III (steal 200 enemy crates) will only unlocked at level 61 in prestige mode. This challenge will reset each time you prestige! Oh and sometimes you will not here the sound or see 100 points added to your level for stealing, this will not count towards 200 steals. So make sure to watch fore the 100 points!

ADD: Emergency airdrop crate don't count towards stealing enemy crates because i've taken more than 70 and I didn't get bounty hunter title or anything. I'm assuming it only counts single care packages.

Is this serious? stealing 200 care packages, starting from level 61? And I had a hard time getting the 50 steals... And they reset? omg ... ~GotJah^

I'm 99% certain that it isn't from 61. I think that it is unlocked period, but I can't confirm. Still only around 120 or so packages, and by that time I'll be level 61 already.

ive got over 200 packages like this: when enemy packages are red and give u 100xp i guess i count. but i DONNT got the TREASURE CHEST emblem jet! ive really counted it, im level 70 2.prestige now.

Definitely needs to be Care Packages.

The golden coin skull emblem is obtained by completeing all the prestige challanges once you are 10th prestige, this emblem takes FOREVER to get.

The Grim Reaper Title Edit

for the description of the grim reaper title it says that you need to get 5 kills with a single predator missile, but all you have to do is get 5 kills with predator missiles in a single game. So you can get 5 predator missiles and 1 kill enemy for each missile (in the same game) and still get the title.

It's the same for the airstikes/stealth bomber ones too.

No, it doesn't have to be in one life. When I got the carpet bomber one. I got 2, died. Got up to stealth bombers again, got 3, died. Got one from a care package, got 1, title obtained.

Flag Titles Edit

For some reason or another I don't have permision to edit the article, but I have noticed a problem. It says that all of the flag titles (British Flag, American Flag, ect.) are unocked by default, but they are acctully unlocked by acheiving the rank "Specialist I" at level 7. Thanks.

Hired Gun Title Edit

The Hired Gun title is not right on this site. it is true that it is the Counter C4 II challenge, but Counter C4 II is 10 kills with C4 Shot not 20 so that's the mistake

8 Ball Emblem Mistake Edit

It says "Complete the "Bang for Your Buck III" challenge - 25 paybacks using a frag grenade," where as it is actually Bang for Your Buck II. (Still 25 Paybacks though.) So please correct this.

Which Levels? Edit

It would be very helpful if there were a new column that states at which level it is possible to attain that Title/Emblem through completion of challenges.

Just go to the challenges page located at: http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Call_of_Duty:_Modern_Warfare_2_challenges Match up the category with the challenge you want, then look at when you unlock that category in the game.

That doesn't really help, most challenge categories unlock in groups. You don't get the whole set when they first unlock.

maybe it is possible to select a tilte or emblem you already got and then it wil disapear. Then you can easily see which titles and emblems you still need. Don't need to search them.

It would be nice if they could tell when you unlock the challenge, such as what level with the title so i know when i can get the title.

I think it might be playing from the start with a 5:1 ratio so you need at least 5 kills before you die the first time, then 5 more. I think I got this title when I got my first nuke, dieing 2 times only.

Its definately only 5:1, you have to have the challenge unlocked. Its in the last group of challenges (can't remember the name) and you don't unlock it until level 61 i believe.

To get the mastodon call sign you need to have a 5;1 death ratio the entire game, so you need to have at least 5 kills before you die for the first time and do so for the full match. EXAMPLES death ration (5;1 10;2 15;3 20;4 25;5). PS. I think you need to end the game with a 5;1 ration in order to get the call sign

when you nuke a map the kills from the nuke dont count to wards it i know ive nuke 32 times can you plez change this.

-->Well i usually hit the ground near them. This works with RPG, but not with AHT I got 90% of mine with the AT4-HS (switched to RPG when i unlocked it) on PS3 and always hit the ground or wall near people.

You do have to watch kill icons in the bottom left hand corner and make sure both have the rocket icons. Sometimes i would get a double kill with a rocket and it would say one was with a rocket and one was a blown up claymore or barrell or something along those lines. Besides that you just need to make sure you have the challenge unlocked but it definately works for both.

STD New Meaning? Edit

So if you scroll down to where the STD title is and in a caption it says "sexually trasmited disease" (sorry if i spelled anything wrong) i think it should be more of "stabing transmited disease" or something along the lines. Just something that i thought would make sense cause you do stab a person to get this title.

Hi, the challenge is right so far. But i think this challenge does not work wit stuns. My friend and i checked it out yesterday. I stunned him and he killed me with the throwing knife. Same other way round and non of us got the title. Then we made the same with a flash and it worked. Might be that the challenge discription from IW is wrong. I mean "Did u see that?" fits better to be flashed than to be stunned. Plz post ur reports how u gained this title- Shanoon

Got it while flashed. I was flashed with my riot shield, threw the throwing knife, and got the title.

The title is right confirmed by me. When you think about it, if it is how you describe then you would get the title pretty easily because the person that you shot and then shot you is the easiest target to kill. I think you are thinking of the challenge "Fast Swap" (Gives you the title "Quickdraw") which doesn't necessarily have to do with last stand.

There is a mistake with this title, it says you get it after you first Prestige doind the "stealth I" (10 kills with a silenced weapon), indeed you have to finish the challenge to get the title, (1000 kills with a silence weapon)

Definately, I NEVER use silenced weapons, and i got it shortly after prestiging and using a silencer to unlock all attachments for gun. Its such a cool title, yet so easy to get. Shame on you Infinity Ward for not making the titles match up to the challenge better, FOR SHAME!!! Checklist?Edit

Do you think it would be possible to introduce a checklist sort of thing for the titles and possibly emblems. i.e. you can check off the titles you've already done and will only see the remaining titles that you have to get. I think this would be very useful for the non-weapon titles. Interested?

I have another idea: The images of titles and emblems at the bottom of the page, you could save them to your computer and number them, so at least for the titles, you could just scroll to the number you need to look at it. As for emblems, you could just compare and see what you are missing. I don't know if a checklist will be optional but this would definitely help save a little more time. Yeah I did try that before making the suggestion. When copied into a word document, the titles and emblems alone took up about 60 pages, even when I removed the titles and emblems I have, it still stretched to 30ish pages. I did this on Wasteland, but I had gotten off of the Machine Gun during the process, then gotten back on, I got 6 kills in a row, but didn't unlock the challenge. My question is, do you have to stay on the machine gun for all 5 kills, meaning can i not jump off, go prone, but then get back on?

It's no big deal, but I was wondering about "Tha Bomb" and "Early Detection." Each one says you have to kill 3 enemies who are defusing a bomb. Is that right? I completed "Bomb Defender: I" and got "Early Detection." Myko Ducor

I think one is for planting and other for defusing.

Behind Enemy Lines Title Edit

I've been trying to get this title since yesterday, and to do so i need to get a 10 killstreak without equipping any of my killstreak rewards, so i set my killstreak rewards to emergency airdrop, pavelow, and tactical nuke. Today, i got my emergency airdrop, then my pavelow, and then i killed 2 more people just to make sure before using my pavelow and emergency airdrop. I didn't receive the title after the game, can somebody explain to me why? Does this mean i have to set all my killstreak rewards above 10? You can also email me at farhandhanani@hotmail.com

To get the title, you have to go to your killstreaks rewards menu and uncheck all of them. Press back. A prompt will appear saying that you have not selected any killstreaks, choose save and exit. whoever completed all the prestige challenges (in the title list now the emblems are all "confirmed"), like "look! no hands!"... how did he complete them? I mean... 1000 kills with sentry gun... it's too long! and boring! is there an easier and faster way to complete them?

now i am going to assume that you dont actually mean faster and easier to get 1000 kills lol its going to take time anyway you do it...even if you go into cage match you can only get 20 kills at a time...just go into ground war...more people may equal more kills.

Also you can do the challenges all the same in split-screen. So just hook in 2 controllers, set everything to unlimited and just do whatever you have to do. So for example the sentry gun: get it with one controller and just run the other character into it. Repeated over and over. Doesn't take all that long. It seems that someone made a mistake while trying to edit the page. Some title have been cut and pasted at the end. Also I am c urious to know how you got the figure in the trivia section for the possible combos. I am no genius but with 570 titles and 297 emblems i get 168399. Of course I am probably wrong.

I have a cleaned-up version of the rotating 10-nuke emblem for completing End of Line III. An admin can add it if they wish. I believe it also rotates clockwise as well (like the animated helicopter emblems).

The spinning gold skull coin in the emblems section under the 100 kills with ac-130 is obtained by completeing all the prestige challanges once 10th prestige so now that is now know instead of unknow :D

I was trying to figure out what titles I would get if I were to complete perks, and so I filled my screen with the first part of the perk listing (not realizing there were a ton more) Maybe someone could make a filter for it so you can search for the titles/emblems you gain for perk "A" or for using kill streak reward "X" through their page? Ex: go to the perk "Bling" 's page and have the titles and emblems at the bottom of the page that are associated with "Bling".

Do COD4 prestige emblems challenges reset after prestige? Edit

If I completed for example "Spectre IV" and get the 10th prestige emblem of COD4, if I prestige then does the challenge reset, or does it stay at 100% for ever? I noticed that "Heads up!" resetted after I prestiged again, same thing for knife veteran, stun veteran etc... but the 9 COD4 prestige emblems challenge didn't reset (i'm 4th prestige). But if I complete them 100% do they reset?

The only ones that will reset are Knife Veteran, Last Stand Veteran, Stealth Veteran, Stun Veteran, and Flashbang Veteran. Try reading the Challenge page along with the Callsign page. The two go hand in hand in MW2. But of course... you'll never lose a Title or Emblem unlocked from completeing the challenges. :)

Animated Emblems fiasco Edit

I'm very excited that DRCL was able to get his hands on the animated emblems without the website watermarking, but there's one issue. He uploaded Animated PNG files. Animated PNGs are still in development and aren't fully supported in every browser (Only Firefox and Opera support them.) So if anyone can, would it be possible for you to convert them into .gif files? Feel free to replace the files I uploaded that contain the watermarking to save bandwith. I don't think you can replace your own files because the server prevents replacing files with a different filetype (png /= gif)

All Pro Clarification Needed Edit

I recently got my "All Pro Title" today. I did not realize until the end of the match though. Weird thing is I didn't get a double headshot kills with one bullet. I was using a Vector, and there were heavy firefights going on so I might have hit 2 guys in the head with one bullet but I didn't get the kills. Is this a glitch, or is the goal just to hit two guys in the head with one bullet?

I got it with a burst of M16. It was a winning kill so it was in slow mo. I can see the first bullet hit them both in the head but only kill the guy in the front and the second bullet finish off the second guy.

I can also confirm it, that only one needs to be a headshot - I got this with the SPAS-12

I can confirm this too, I had it with the AK-47, I gave one guy a headshot and the other guy got shot in the waist, at the bottom left of the screen you saw one headshot and one normal AK-47 kill, the top of the screen said "All Pro" (when you achieve an achievement), so you don't need 2 headshots, just 1 headshot and 2 kills with 1 shot.

The suppressor title can be unlocked at any time. You only have to get 10 kills with a silencer equipped to get the title. The title that Offspring may be refering to is "The Silent" which is unlocked once you prestige and finish the suppressor challenge. (UTC) Jason psn:jeepguy934

Yes, that much I agree with. The Silent title in Gold is the one for completing Stealth VI, and I agree it should be the same on all platforms but I can't explain how it was obtained before prestiging since I got it after prestiging from that challenge. For example, I finished the M21 and Scar Mastery by the time I finished first prestiged and to get mastery you have to finish the challenges with the suppressor which is more than 10 but I never had that title until I prestiged and unlocked "Stealth" prestige challenges. What are the specifics for this one? I used riot shield and blast shield, and my screen went bloody 5 times, and I regenerated health, but did not unlock this challenge? Anybody gotten this by trying or was it all accidental?

do you have that specific challenge unlocked in your baracks and does it now say "Completed"? You have to have it unlock and you get points for completeing the challenge in order to get the title. Also was it 5 times in a row without dying?

I am sure you can aquire this title from any game type. It is when you kill the MVP of the enemy team atleast 10 times (more if you want who are we to judge) in a single match. you have to kill the guy who has the top score at the moment. So if another person gets the top player, you will have to kill him to complete the challenge. You can get this challenge done in Free for all, even though the challenge says "...the top player of the enemy team".

Well it depends on the challenge. If you mean the regular challenges, such as so many headshots for CAMOS and so many kills for ATTACHMENTS, those DO reset. If you mean the Master or Veteran

challenges whose sole purpose is to get titles/emblems, then these do NOT reset.

--Yes it can, you just have to be back far enough. Perhaps you mean the stinger (vehicle lock-on only)? You have to have somebody between you and the vehicle you're shooting, which means pretty much right in frony of you. Nope. I tried that yesterday, and after getting about 200 crates of all varieties, I still didn't get the title. After prestiging--presumably resetting the count--I collected 50 care packages and got the title.

I don't know how many people this affects, but on my game (xbox360) the launchers do not count multi-kills towards the "Master" titles; they do in fact require headshots.

The RPG's are the same, with multi-kills going towards the Mastery title. Maybe Thumpers are different, like Grenade Launchers under you Assault Rifle that can get head shots and count towards your gun's headshot total. Thats the only anomaly I can see. ~Papa Dot

Bombs Away confirmed Edit

You do get "bombs away" title for the 6 kills one stealth bomber challenge. Although I really couldn't count of all them as I was playing and the kills came too fast. It might be like the "Grim Reaper" tilte and you only need to kill 6 people with 2 or less stealth bombers in a single game. Something to think about, but the Title deffinitly came with the challenge. ~ Papa Dot

I'm playing on xbox, level 38. I can't view the 'payback' challenges for L47, yet I already have 'Rainmaker' and 'Dishes are Done' titles and the dishes emblem. ~WillFragForBeer

Yeah you can actually get some pay back challenge before you unlock them like "Break the Bank", "ATM", "Over Draft". I dont know much about other that have different phrase like Bang for your Bucks or I'm Rich. Probably a glitch. ~ SA

Stun and Flash Veteran Prestige titlesEdit

I just want to get it straight for anyone who is wondering.

The Stun and Flash Veteran titles are flipped for a reason. The acquirement are inverted In Game

For example, in order to get the Flash Veteran Title, one would have to complete Stun Veteran II during their Prestige career. To get the Stunner Veteran title, you would have to complete Flash Veteran II. The same goes for the Gold Skull titles (Complete the 4th Veteran challenge for the titles)

The titles are infact inverted in game. I don't have any reason why it's like that, and I don't plan to ask why it's like that. The titles are Flipped, I can confirm this with the Flash Veteran and the Flash Titles. OmegaBlade 04:15, January 23, 2010 (UTC)

Call of Duty: MW2 10th Prestige Emblem DISPROVED? Edit

This video seems to be conclusive evidence that the current theory for unlocking the spinning 10th prestige emblem from modern warfare TWO is not correct (Complete all "Prestige" challenges). 8 Days Played for P10L70, KRD 5:1, Longest Killstreak 136, Win streak 159... MAYBE HACKING DISABLES THIS EMBLEM ????

I have a friend that unlocked all of the emblems by going into a hacked lobby where you press UP on the d-pad and he got everything EXCEPT the spinning 10th prestige emblem. So I agree with ^^^^^ hacking might disable that emblem and it is highly unlikely that a player gets to 10th prestige with so little games played in so little time.

He didn't show ALL prestige challenges, as we all know about the Veteran and Master gun challenges you get after doing prestige for the first time. Of course, there could be some other way of getting the Skull, as we're still trying to confirm a lot of things. As the above statement says, maybe hacking disables the emblem, but earning the challenges legitimately, that would take weeks and months, as 37000 headshots and a dropping crate kill doesn't come easy. Let's try not to say that something is not true because of boosting ranks, and wait for someone to test the emblem out legitimately. I'll change the requirement to "Unconfirmed" as it is, and see if anyone can find out the actual requirement for the emblem. OmegaBlade 21:36, January 25, 2010 (UTC)

I truly doubt it would take not only the "prestige" challenges, but also the prestige challenges for each weapon. It would be practically impossible considering you'd have to get all those launcher double kills aswell as a LOT of headshots. Maybe hacking disables it. I doubt it, though. Reverse Flags Issue Edit

I really think this is not something to note because flags have two sides and one is the opposite of the other. Also army flags can be depicted flipped. For example the US army uniform shoulder patch flags are flipped to represent always moving forward. And finally the flag can hang vertically or be fallen and upside down considering most of the titles are angle shots.

But that reallly wouldn't fit with any form of consistency. IW just f*cked up, is all.

Most nations have the flag "reversed" on the shoulder, and there is a number of theories to this. The theory that was most used when I was in service, is that when the flag is reversed on the shoulder, it would look right when the soldier wearing the uniform looks down on it.

Airborne challenge/hard target title glitch Edit

I was playing Headquarters on Quarry and somehow got stuck at the top of the hill (with all the barrells) trying to jump through the small hole in the fence. I could not jump or crouch or move at all except rotate. I ended up killing two enemies that came past and I completed the challenge. I hope this might help someone who is having trouble completeing it. I hope i explained it well. My 360 name is ryanfan03 is you want to add me.

It's the fact that your player's body mesh is too large to fit all the way in, but small enough to get stuck in. I'm guessing you're refering to the left part of the open fence, not the right, since I too have gotten stuck by that. Anyhow, I didn't know you could get that challenge for doing that. The same occurs in Scrapyard in the large tubes where Point C normally would be in Domination though. OmegaBlade 01:50, January 28, 2010 (UTC)

Callsign Inaccuracies... Edit

Hi. I noticed a few things wrong in the Callsigns area to be fixed:

The 47th callsign (Look! No Hands!) and the 48th callsign (The Automator) both state that to receive these callsigns, the Look! No Hands!: I challenge (get 50 kills with a Sentry Gun) must be finished (after entering prestige mode). Does completing this one challenge give you BOTH callsigns??

The 82nd callsign (Hard Target) requires the Airborne challenge (get a 2 killstreak with bullets while in mid-air) be completed. The 159th callsign (Airborne) requires the 21 Ton Giant I (call in 3 Pave Lows) be completed. Are these two callsign statements accurate??

Do you get the international flag callsigns (298 USA Flag to 336 Iranian Flag) at the VERY beginning or at Rank Level 7??

Do you get Stand Veteran (Silver) (after entering prestige mode) from getting 15 kills while in Last Stand or 25 kills while in Last Stand??

Sorry for the million questions, but this should help clear things up in this comprehensive guide to Callsigns. Thank you!

Answer 1 - Yes, you get both titles for one challenge. Many challenges do that.

Answer 2 - You get Hard Target by doing the Airborne challenge. It's confusing yes, it's almost as bad as the Flash/Stunner Veteran challenges.

Answer 3 - You get the flags at Rank Level 7. All are unlocked at the same time but only the first flag is stated as new.

Answer 4 - I'm sure it's 25. I'll change that right now.

The Stunner & The Flash Edit

I Think there may be a mix-up between the Flash and Stunner prestige titles.

The stunner says that it is earned by using flashbangs, while the flash says that it is earned using stun grenades.

No, its not a mix up on the wiki, it was simply they were mixed up by IW so even though logically Flash should be unlocked with flash grenades and Stunner should unlock with stun grenades, its the other way round.Crimmastermind 21:49, January 28, 2010 (UTC)

BAM! Title Edit

The page says that its for getting 'Master Chef II : 10 kills with cooked grenades', then it says its an equipment challenge. There is no such 'Master Chef' Challenge in the equipment bit. There is one called 'grenade kill' which i have finished by getting 30 kills with grenades. but i have no BAM! title...

Im like level 30-40 atm so havent unlocked all the challenges, so it might be in elite or humiliation, which i haven't unlocked, but it says its equipment challenge. maybe this need editing

You're thinking of Omnicide. Wargasm needs you to get all of your killstreaks in about 20 seconds. Use the UAV, Care package, and Predator Missile killstreaks and put on Hardline. Then camp if you have to. OmegaBlade 11:17, January 29, 2010 (UTC)

Actually twenty seconds is a lot longer than you think. It isn't that hard of a challenge if you have 3, 4, and 5 killstreaks on.

Get a Chopper Gunner and the rest is really easy to get Omnicide. For Wargasm I suggest using Predator, Airstrike, Harrier and when you get 2 kills with the predator it is done Nadieeee 13:54, January 30, 2010 (UTC)

The "Heads up" Prestige Emblem is modeled after the US Air Force Commendation Medal. The 6th Prestige Level II Emblem is modeled after the US Air Force Distinguished Service Medal, and the Carpet Bomber Level IV Emblem is modeled after the US Armed Forces Legion of Merit Medal.

Hard to Kill Edit

The descritption for the Hard to Kill title is a little vague. You unlock it by getting Last Stand Pro I: Kill 2 enemies while in last stand. The current wording kind of makes it sound like you have to get two kills while in the same last stand. Also, I don't think Final Stand has anything to do with it, because I've gotten lots of final stand kills, but only got the title when I used last stand. Noodle Jab 21:45, January 30, 2010 (UTC)

Hard to Kill has also not unlocked for me. The Title page claims it unlocks with two kills in Last Stand or Final Stand. Many times I have killed two people from a single Final Stand. I believe it must only be Last Stand, the perk not the deathstreak.

The Grim Reaper Title/Emblem Fix Edit

I remember that it used to be kill 5 enemies with 1 predator missle to get it, but a guy posted a few pages down that he did it with 2 predator missles, as I did myself.

But, here in this newly uploaded video on machinemarespawn on youtube this guy gets grim reaper after using 3 predator missles.

Not sure if this has been stated. I just noticed. For the Air Drop Inbound Challenge, an emergency Airdrop counts as FOUR packages to the count.

The Flash and The Stunner Prestige titles are INVERTED ingame. You get Flash Veteran by using Stun Grenades, and you Get Stunner Veteran by using Flashbangs. The article is not wrong. Do not flip them. Do not pass go. Do not collect 200$.

..arrness I think the intergalactic title should be in the trivia section as it is an obvious reference... It's Sabotage (a Beastie Boy's song) is the title for getting Sabotage victor I, and Intergalactic (another Beastie Boy's song) is for Sabotage victor II. Theres no other reason for having it called Intergalactic other than increasing the Beastie Boy reference. So basically under the trivia section I think it should say:

"The title "It's Sabotage!" is a reference to the song "Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys. Likewise, the title "Intergalactic" is a reference to another Beastie Boy's song."

The title "Highlander" is most likely to refer to the movie Highlander. The movie is about some men that are semi-immortal, the only way they can die is when their heads are cut off of their bodies.

Hijacker III: 200 Crates question Edit

The article (in the description of the emblem) claims that the 200 crates stolen for this hidden challenge (at least I assume that there aren't two independent "steal 200 crates" things) must NOT be from either Sentry Gun drops or Emergency Airdrops but solely stolen Care Package drops. Not only does this seem ridiculously stringent on its own but the game has other challenges such as the 1000 Airdrops challenge which can be completed with ANY of the above (IIRC, the game itself states this). So is it absolutely certain or confirmed that this information is correct?

ADDED: This also disagrees with the Challenges page, which defines Hijacker as needing to steal "enemy crates". (Again, assuming that "Steal 200" is indicating the Hijacker III challenge.)

Also, this page gave me a lot of trouble, in that the formatting didn't automatically go like the rest of the page in the editor and I didn't see an obvious way of copying it (copy/paste kind of worked but now I can't get rid of the bold), and it's always scrolling up to hide the bottom text whenever I click away from the bottom text (in a way that wouldn't ordinarily scroll away). It's even happened when I clicked on other text ON THE SAME BOTTOM LINE and it scrolled up on me, hiding the bottom two lines. Extremely annoying and if I didn't feel strongly about asking this question I would have given up long ago.

ADDED: Subsequently editing this section allowed me to fix things, although it was very slow to respond to me changing highlighted text boldness.

I am not sure, but sometimes i recieve +100 XP for a sentry gun and for ONE crate of the emergency airdrop. And they dont count even if i recieve +100? In my opinion they count, supported by the screenshot, where someone steals an emergancy crate...

Right same here. They count 100%. I boosted Riot with a Friend and got Hijacker with a Sentrygun^...

Can someone change the requirements or make a note that this challenge requires that a certain number of helicopters be shot down with the Stinger launcher? Spinning MW2 tenth update Edit

So being that all Prestige category challenges complete at 10th does not unlock the emblem (confirmed by myself and a few others now), I went to FourZeroTwo to see if it was even still attainable.

His response: "@echo65 it's attainable and yes, within this lifetime. Just takes extreme dedication." link

Vague but I didnt expect him to come out and say what it was. My current theory is that it's a combination of all Pres Cat Chals and all weapon attachments and all non prestige emblems (or all non weapon chals completed at 10th.)

U need to unlock Elite-Challenges...

Don't use akimbo as it makes it alot harder, instead, try using FMJ. Akimbo is pretty useless for the ranger because each barrel has a trigger even without akimbo. So you cannot technically use the sights on it. This is what they mean by both barrels.

Carpet Bomb with Harrier Edit

yesterday i finished the Carpet Bomb Challenge. I made 2 kills with the airstrike from the Harrier, 2 kills with an precision aiirstrike and then again one kill with the airstrike from the Harrier. So i believe that this challenge works with Harriers too. I am quite sure that this thought is correct, because the first time i got this challenge, i played FFA on Rust. First i started a harrier strike with at least on bomb kill and then a p-airstrike. I got a multikill, so it was 4+ Kills. Yes, DLC is how you get it. You can force it to unlock manually if you know how with a jtagged aka modded xbox 360. Robert Bowling said on his twitter recently that all testers had all emblems/titles/weapons for testing purpose unlocked. So that video doesn't prove anything. Yes, I know what I'm talking about. Trust me. I have 100% Campaign, Spec-Ops, Multiplayer (titles,emblems,challenges,weapons, etc, and all achievements. - Monster Travis.

The way I got the spinning Skull was by completing every Prestige Challenge including the Flash, Stun and, any other Prestige Challenges that restart when you Prestige.

You neednt get the kills in a row. i got all 3 titles (grim,cluster,bombs away) with killstreak-kills-death-killstreak-kills-death and so on.

This is a continuation of the message that was 2 messages ago.

the last message showed that for the "Kill X enemies with a single airstrike/bomber run/predator missle" could actually be done with more than one in a row.

New discoveries show that you can do the same for multi frag, c4, or claymore challenges. As long as you don't get any other kind of kill inbetween the kills.

Example: Kill a enemy with a frag.

Scavenge a new frag.

Kill another enemy with a frag.

It counts as killing 2 enemies with a single frag.

Would this explain why i got the challenge collateral dammage while shooting ONE guy ? (however i did put another one in last stand right before but...)

Multi-Kill Challenges with Killstreaks Edit

A few days ago I managed to get up to my Precision Airstrike in a hardcore team deathmatch. I called it in, got 4 kills, then died a bit later. I finally managed to get on the ground and find a safe place to call in my care package. I received a Harrier Airstrike. The bombs killed one person and I completed the Cluster Bomb challenge. The description under the challenge completed display did not say that it had to be completed by a single airstrike.

The other day I fired a stinger at a harrier. It went waaaaay wide and about 6 seconds later I got a player kill with it. Has this happened to anyone else? Can I assume it boomeranged back down to the ground and actually hit someone? I have thousands of kills and game under my belt and I haven't seen it happen to myself/anyone else since.

Well i killed a player with a stinger too, but not that way. I locked on and stepped forward, not noticing that there was a roof (wastland, little house near gravyard). I shoot and hit the roof. Its happened to me once just like you said about boomeranging back. I have a habit of watching the missile to see if I get the vehicle and as i watched my stinger went past it (it was an attack helicopter) and came back down and killed someone. Everyones Progress Edit

I am just curious as to how many titles and emblems everyone has...I still need about 50 non-weapon specific titles (hardest ones for me are the Gat Trigger, Counter-MVP, and all the nuke as I havent gotten one yet)...some of those include the # prestige titles that I will get eventually (only prestiged once because I am working on some titles). As far as the Emblems I need about 10 or so non-weapon specific emblems. How many titles/emblems do you have? Also any tips on how to get gat trigger would be helpful.

i have a friend on xbl, his gt is lnsaniityy, its an L at beginning not an i, and he had the spinning 10th mw2 emblem. to get it you have to be ranked 1-3000 in kills, but he doesnt have it anymore because his rank went down (or up, however you want to say it... he is above 3000...). i saw it with my own eyes, and as soon as he went down he didnt have it anymore.

The Intergalactic title is a reference to the beastie boys song of the same name. You need to win 20 sabotage matches to earn it, and Sabotage is also another popular song by the beastie boys.

Suggestion for the Webpage Edit

The operator of this site should create a checklist for the titles and emblems. It would make it easier to know which titles you need.

this has been suggested before and i think the answer was that the way it is is fine. just copy and paste into excel...delete the titles you have and print (thats what i did)...and for the weapon titles i made a spread sheet.

"End Of Line" Reference

I have emptied so many clips without kills and thrown all equipments and secondaries so that all i have left to kill anyone is a damn knife... killed 5 people in a row and still no damn title. This two titles are only possible with hacks. Cause, if everyone start's the game without a hack, it's not possible to have std and infected title. Thanks to the hackers for these challenges. I get both titles without hack.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I'm a big fan of this page. Great job on everyone that helped building this page to what it has become.
I have always redirected questions I got about callsigns to this page, but it's come to a point that I can't keep up. I decided to copy this list to www.modernwarfare247.com and give credit to this wikia, with a link so they can keep up to date with the latest changes.

"Starfish Prime" trivia on callsigns page Edit

I looked up EMP on wikipedia, and that lead to some old 1962 US Operation of the testing of the EMP. Now we all know, if you guys read how to get the title Starfish Prime, you have to call 5 EMPs. I though this would be a pretty cool trivia fact to know, i think it deserves to be along with all the other trivia on the callsigns page? what do you guys think??

Does anyne know if there will be more callsigns for the upcoming dlc? I have seen the trailor on xbl and see only new maps. I heard that they might release global thermonuclear war game mode as well. Title: Cluster Bomb Edit

Today I was trying to get the "Cluster Bomb" title and my killstreaks were Precision Airstrike, Harrier Strike, and Stealth Bomber. I got a total of six kills with the Bombs from all three killstreaks. I was playing the gametype Domination. I did not recieve the title. I am wondering if the Stealth Bomber counts as a Precision Airstrike Bombing. It says to kill 5 people from bombs in a single match and technically the Stealth Bomber drops bombs. Can anyone answer me? Oh, and I am level 59 second prestige, do i have to unlock the Challenge catagory "Intimidation" to get this title? - Xbox Gamertag: Doug Delaroy.

this is what it says for the title:

Kill 5 Enemies with bombs from Harrier and / or Precision Airstrikes in one round.

so it looks like the stealth bomber does not count. there is a separte title that you get when you kill 6 people in one game with the stealthy. Ryanfan03 23:02, March 28, 2010 (UTC)

You need to unlock the challenge to get the title. Even if stealth bombers did count you wouldn't have gotten it because you need to unlock the "Intimidation" challenges to get it.Duckcall00 23:17, March 28, 2010 (UTC)

Hard Target Title Edit

personally i got it on quarry by jumping on the fence at the top of the hill. I jumped to the smaller hole to the left (if looking over the hill toward the buildings) and got stuck and ended up killing a couple people. I assume that you can jump through the big hole and sit on the fence and kill people to get the title but not positive on the latter. Ryanfan03 03:36, March 29, 2010 (UTC)

The early detection title is earned by killing three people while they are planting the bomb, instead of killing three people while they are defusing the bomb.

I saw a guy with the rihno head emblem on PSN today. his name was TurtlePower101, I believe.

I asked him if he boosted or got it fairly, but I got no answer. anyway. Just thought I'd put it out there. I want that emblem so bad.

I have done the challenges for some titles and emblem but I don't seem to have them? Is there something wrong or is this a common problem?

Check for the following:

• Are you Prestige? The Prestige Emblems and some of the others require you to prestige a number of times to require them.
• Are you the appropriate level? Make sure you have the Challenge list unlocked, since it wont keep track unless it's unlocked.
• What challenges are you going for? Some challenges are named quite similar to each other, like the Clay More and Claymore Shot challenges.

Callsigns are also used to confuse OpFor Comm Tappers (Opposing Forces Communcation Tappers) and/or to hide the current location of a squad, given only the callsign, OpFor Comm Tappers cannot get the exact location of callsign users for they are not provided with the real name of the operative. Sometimes, operatives who are in a very sticky situation panics and sometimes use their real identity instead of using their callsign.

The following are the callsigns used in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (singleplayer) and their users:

Bravo Six - Captain Price, Lt. Vasquez

Alpha Six - Captain MacMillan

Outlaw Two-Five - Seaknight Helicopter used in the mission, Shock and Awe

Warpig - M1A2 Abrams tank

Red Dog - Lt. Vasquez

Baseplate - SAS Command (no specific persons mentioned)

Infected Title thing i dont get Edit

The thing i don't get is when MW2 started and no one had the infected title how did anyone get stabbed by an infected and unlock the title and complete the challenge when MW2 was first made and tested? SLAUGHTERER.
