Why does the player get claymores in this mission? There's like no place where they're really useful. It doesn't make any sense... Helix Armada 07:18, June 6, 2010 (UTC)
- Leftovers from an earlier version of it perhaps? Darkman 4 07:19, June 6, 2010 (UTC)
Yea, that was my thought also...the only place I could think of to use them would be after the firefight in the main broadcast room of the TV station, when you come to some windows overlooking the parking lot and there are enemies coming into it. You could plant claymores in the parking lot before you entered the TV station. That is of course, if you wanted to kill them. Since those guys could be ignored, I think your idea is the most likely. McLeod and Davis Edit
I just played this level, and I noticed these two Marines were constant, despite me playing the level three times due to crashing. My other NPCs were randomly named, as usual, but Sgt. McLeod - a marine in the car park, who attempted to hold off OpFor whilst I was sniping from the second floor (after clearing the TV station rooms, I hope people know what I'm talking about) before being killed - and Sgt. Davis, the man with the shotgun who broke into the room where Al-Asad's broadcast was coming from - remained so named each time. Would someone else try this and confirm/defeat my hypothesis? Thanks.
