Not really

"It could be viewed as strange that he and Allen are lower than some of the recruits, but are helping train them."

This happens all the time in the military. Allen is just the demonstrator whilst Foley is conducting the lesson. Nothing strange about it. Just the benefit of being higher in the chain of command.

As an addendum; the guys that are tasked to work with the higher-quality Western forces are generally better-trained, or more competent than their peers; and they carry this back to their units, and are relied upon more actively while participating in joint operations, regardless of rank. -- Echo Four Delta 21:11, February 18, 2010 (UTC)

^ This is also true. I'm just saying that the translators usually seem a little less daft than the others, and not just because of the language barrier; we let our translator and an Iraqi corporal boss around a sergeant and a lieutenant because the other 2 were dumbasses - and it's not like they knew how to fight properly anyway. -- Echo Four Delta 21:23, February 18, 2010 (UTC)

looks from Saudi arabia, actually Afghanis have fairer skin.

Maybe he's not ANA but a translator attached to the Rangers? This would explain his appearance in Team Player getting in a Humvee even though no Afghani soldiers were. FinalWish 03:01, December 26, 2010 (UTC)

Notable?

I'm not sure this really counts as "notable," he doesn't do anything but stand there. Shotrocket6 08:29, January 1, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, his name isn't randomly generated like other NPCs, and that's pretty much the only requirement needed to be considered "notable". Moozipan Cheese 22:46, January 1, 2011 (UTC)
