I think not. It plays a bigger part than you think because Richtofen was a part of the Illuminati and in Ascension you can hear voices of the Illuminati in Richtofen's head. Also, if we're going to get rid of it because it "minor" then we should get rid of the "cow" pages Dinosaurfan1 21:13, April 30, 2011 (UTC)
Richtofen?[]
I find it unlikely that Richtofen is a member of the Illuminati. Why would he say they will never get their hands on the design for the Ray gun, if he was a member of the Illuminati he would have shared the design, I'm sure. More likely they brainwashed him to kill Maxis.

This is not too much of a long shot. Richtofen, in one of his quotes in Kino der Toten (which might be a cut-out one) begins to say "Treyarch" but then cuts himself short and says "Illuminatti". Also, since illuminatti codes were put in several Zombies maps, these might be intended as easter egg messages from the design team of the maps for those who can figure out the coding. —Unsigned comment was added by 88.224.35.58
