I can hardly believe that the KSG 12 is the first Bullpup shotgun in call of duty as the HS-10 from Black Ops takes that title. Cloudstrife4life 18:39, September 11, 2011 (UTC)

The KSG isn't the first, I think you forgot about the HS10 in Black Ops 1 :D

Functionality?

Do we know what fire mode this shotgun will have? Is it semi-auto, pump or another mode?

Unknown as of now. My theory on why the KSG is a double barrel is that IW wanted a double barrel that would be able to use Extenze Mags. MofoMax^Talk

Hold fire, it is actually a single barreled shotgun, the RL one being a pump shotgun. It has two magazines and is bullpup, but that is the only special thing about it. It's not double-barreled, it just has two seperate magazines of which it can switch between, each being able to house different ammunition. In-game, we may not see many of this, but it will probably be pump-shot, I doubt we'll see the two magazine feature (which would be similar in function to dual mags), but we will have a nice shotgun. Most likely Pump action, but If the pattern of shotguns is correct, then it will be a semi-automatic, as this would give all players a choice of two of each fire-type (auto, semi-auto and pump/lever). ...Uh derp, isn't it unlocked at level four along with the USAS? Of course it is I was playing MW3 earlier today so someone fix it

BO2: May be a placeholder?

Just noticed that this sprung up, but as it is a fairly long-distance picture, isn't it possible that it was included as a placeholder? It appears to be identical to its MW3 predecessor, so can we be sure until we are told by Treyarch? GroverA125 17:04, May 22, 2012 (UTC)

no on extra game play footage there is the ksg 12 and it say pick up but it noe just the ksg

And that confirms it. They wouldn't add a new pick-up icon for a placeholder weapon and show it in use in game.GroverA125 10:03, June 6, 2012 (UTC)

black ops 2 fires slugs

Vahn discussed the ksg over twitter saying the ksg fires slugs instead of buckshot
