UntitledEdit

tlSOCOM isn't really a military "unit." SOCOM (or USSOCOM) is a unified command of all special forces from all branches of service (Army, Air Force, Marines, and Navy). Xiltyn 04:03, November 24, 2009 (UTC)

Actually the Marines have their own Command branch known as MARSOC (Marine Special Operations Command) which takes care of the Force Recon units. They still integrate and coordinate with the rest of SOCOM though. --XavierGTR 12:21, January 21, 2010 (UTC)

I dont think 50 Cent is the announcer for the SEALs.

Take a listen at this clip of 50's voice in spec ops (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElOKhM9PGcE).

Compare that to the actual SEALs MP announcer.

"Enemy AC-130 Above" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1m7u4WU2hs)

"We've been EMP'd" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFKssyCPuic)

"Tactical Nuke Incoming" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qigsKZJ43k)

It sounds more like Mark Grigsby - Ssgt. Griggs from CoD4.

I don't know why people think 50 Cent is the voice announcer...he's not, he's just the "black soldier" guy, who says stuff like "frag out" and "tango down". 99.40.55.239 06:52, April 27, 2010 (UTC)

50 CENT Edit

50 Cent provides the voice for some soldiers on Team Player most notably when you go upstairs at the bridge you can hear him say "Lets go, Lets go get your ass back in the vehicles"

no announcer Edit

dog have you heard 50's voice his voice is very distinctive and I never heard him say anything on the game nor is he the faction leader his voice doesn't even sound like that. If he is on there is probably just a soldier but he is not the announcer76.94.173.73 16:49, October 27, 2010 (UTC)

he sounds identical to Griggs. listin to 50 cent voice then listen to the announcer that's all I gotta say76.94.173.73 16:49, October 27, 2010 (UTC)

seal team six Edit

can we merge them

The Navy SEALs and DEVGRU (SEAL Team Six) are not members of the same group contrary to popular belief. DEVGRU is it's own unit, composed of color coded teams that are under the jurisdiction of the Joint Special Operations Command authority similar to the Army's CAG unit (Delta) and the ISA. They aren't just another SEAL Team like the media loves to erroneously depict them as. Merging two separate entities just because their names both have "SEAL" in them is preposterous.
