Private Tchernovkov was a Red Army solider who fought in the Battle of Stalingrad in World War II. He is featured in Call of Duty: Finest Hour.

October 3, 1942 Edit

All though their actions and decisions are largely unknown, Tchernovkov and Private Telinov make their way down into the sewers below Stalingrad. There, they come across Lieutenant Tanya Pavelovna and her party having just cleared a section of the sewers of German influence.

They immediately joined the group and helped Lieutenant Pavelovna through the sewers and back to the surface.

Gameplay Edit

Tchernovkov, like Pvt. Telinov, is found after the player clears out the first large corridor. From there, he behaves just like an extra gun, contributing nothing to the plot. To get Tchernovkov, Pvt. Kerensky has to die, preferably before the corridor is cleared.

Tchernovkov has a viewing error- his weapon is a PPSh-41, but when viewed he appears to be holding a confiscated MP-40.
