The Blast Furnace (formerly Activision Leeds)[1] was a video game developer based in the very north of Leeds, founded in November 2011. Unlike Treyarch, Infinity Ward, and Sledgehammer Games, they will only develop handheld, iOS versions of Call of Duty. They worked on a new Call of Duty game called Call of Duty: Strike Team[2][3] released on September 5, 2013[4].
