The Square is a multiplayer map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance, taking place in a central city square.

As the name may suggest the map is a square shaped map and consists of various staircases and walkways. There is also the open square in the middle that provides open combat to any players within it.

Two buildings have been used as sniper towers that provide nearly excellent view over the square and decent protection, except against each other since both are directly opposite each other. Although to new players reaching these towers may be a challenge as the player can only access them by finding a secret passageway, one for each tower.
