The Vault is a retirement complex where retired Frank Woods lives. In 2025, he is visited by an old face from the past, Raul Menendez. The Vault was raided by Lieutenant Commander David "Section" Mason, his partner Mike Harper and a large Secret Service tactical unit in the beginning of the story. Depending on the player's actions, Woods may reunite with his thought to be dead friend, Alex Mason and Alex's son David, or end up being murdered by Menendez in his room.

TriviaEdit

  • The Vault, particularily Frank Woods' room, looked much different in the Reveal and Villain Trailers, looking more like a normal house, rather than a retired veteran's home.
  • Woods seems to dislike his nurse, since in one of the endings, he says "Nurse Batshit, where's my smokes?!"
  • In Woods' room there is a symbol of the Navy SEALs from MW2.
