From the Call of Duty Wiki
Treyarch is a game-producing company owned by Activision and is responsible for making some games in the Call of Duty series. Unlike Infinity Ward, Treyarch has also developed games outside of the Call of Duty franchise.
The core of Treyarach's Call of Duty team comes from an older studio known as Gray Matter Interactive, responsible for games like Kingpin and Return to Castle Wolfenstein. The team was also responsible for Call of Duty: United Offensive. Treyarch is currently developing Call of Duty 7.[1]
