Type 93 Flamethrower / Type 100 Flamethrower
From the Call of Duty Wiki
The Type 93 Flamethrower and the Type 100 Flamethrower are two different flamethrowers used by Japanese Soldiers. During WWII was when the Japanese used these weapons, but they were extremely rare; the flamethrowers were only assigned to those in the "flamethrower unit" in the Imperial Army. During the stages of WWII the Japanese Imperial Army were running low on anti-tank and bazooka-based ammo and instead tried to use the flamethrower as an anti-tank weapon against US Sherman tanks, with little success. These two flamethrowers are very similar to one another.
[edit] In Game
They are not as powerful as usable flamethrowers, such as the M2 Flamethrower and the Flammenwerfer 35. In single player The flamethrower is only discovered in one of the cutscenes, and also in the mission Burn 'em Out as scenery. The flamethrower kills in the same amount of time as other flamethrowers.
