The Type 97 Chi-Ha was a medium tank used by the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II.

Call of Duty: World at War Edit

These tanks can be found in the levels "Little Resistance" and "Hard Landing". In "Little Resistance", the player uses artillery strikes to destroy them. In "Hard Landing", the player fights them face to face, with the Bazooka, Marines and M4 Sherman tank. The tank, however, only appears as an enemy in Solo/Co-op. The ShinHoTo variant was, however, originally planned to appear in multiplayer[1] equipped with an MG42 mounted machine gun.

  • The tank was referred as a Type 95 Ha-Go in "Little Resistance".
  • These tanks can be destroyed using the Ray Gun found in "Little Resistance".
