Call of Duty 2: Big Red One Edit
In the mission Piano Lupo Petty Officer Mangin was a Naval radio link with the 1st Infantry Division. Mangin carries the Navy-issued Portable Radio which protected his back from bullets but it was severely damaged in return and rendered useless. So, he used a stationary radio in the upper bunker instead, however, he needed some time to find the right frequency. When he managed to do so, Pvt. Roger spots targets for him, and the USS Boise and other ships from the fleet fire upon the tanks, destroying them and stopping the attacking Italians.
Call of Duty: WWII Edit
In the mission D-Day, battleships and landing ships can be seen bombing the Omaha beachhead. The US Navy BB-35 USS Texas battleship is seen as a multiplayer map with the same name. The faction is available for use via uniform selection if the player is on the Allied Powers team.
