Reasons I prefer PS3 over Xbox 360Edit

1. PSN does not cost me $60 a year

2. PSN works reliably enough for me so why would I switch to another network that works the same but cost me money?

3. Personally I've always been a fan of Sony I've really never found Microsoft consoles that good.

4. Playstation 3 never had a "Red Ring of Doom" or in this case "Yellow Dot of Death" incident (There were a few instances but less than 1% of PS3 users reported it)

5. When I played on Xbox Live at my friends house the only people I ran into were immature people who just liked to play annoying things into their mics to irratate other people, or people who just trash talked you half the time, on the PSN I run into these people maybe once every month maybe 3 weeks, I would assume that this is because the 360 is the big console and the PS3 gets pushed to the side which I'm not going to lie I'm kinda grateful for.

6. I am more familiar with the layout of the PS3 controller mainly since the PS2 was the first ever video game console I played, when I use an Xbox 360 controller it just feels wrong in my hands.

7. Although Sony recently had a hacking incident it wasn't their fault, because at the same time they were focused on several Denial of Service attacks coming from Anoymous easily allowing someone to sneak in the back door, Xbox 360s from what i've seen someone could just march in the front door and execute the same thing.

8. PS3 is a more long term online gaming console, although the initial prices would suggest otherwise ($300 for a PS3 and $150 for an Xbox 360 in my friend's case granted it was used) after 4 years the total cumulative cost of the XBL service along with the initial console itself will essentially be $350 for him costing more than the initial pricing of the PS3 which does not rise unless you subscribe to Playstation Plus (Which I most certainly will not)
