So, in all of its depictions in Call of Duty, the Heckler & Koch G36 is represented by its compact G36C variant. This variant is known for its rail carry handle, which replaces the original's integral optic carry handle.
This trend isn't CoD-only: in films, games, even in real life, many G36s are equipped with the rail handle. Of course, the games prefer to use the rail handle so that the G36 can equip optics like other rifles.
I find myself preferring the optic handle - why waste an already-available feature when both integral and attached optic do the same thing?
What's your opinion? Do you prefer the rail carry handle or the optic carry handle? Feel free to chip in your thoughts.
