Nuketown 2025, the bonus map for those who pre-ordered Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops II, was pulled from multiplayer matchmaking on Monday night with the removal of the Nuketown 2025 - 24/7 playlist. The move caught many gamers by surprise, and the plot thickened when Vonderhaar offered this explanation on Twitter:
Yet the Internet brigade was not satisfied, and took to their pitchforks. Overwhelmed by an angry, virtual mob, Vonderhaar was forced to respond, and tweeted this curious message:
And so by the dozens, the agitated players that wanted nothing more than their promised pre-order bonus voiced their support for the infamous Nuketown 2025…

With the legal battle between former Infinity Ward heads, Jason West and Vince Zampella, and Activision now settled, the gag on those that originally developed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been lifted.
Among those already talking about their experiences at Infinity Ward is former Level Designer Mohammad Alavi, the man most notably in charge for the creation and sequencing of events in "All Ghillied Up" and "No Russian."
Alavi feels that criticism for "No Russian" has missed the point. A tipster who claimed to have information on the inside of Activison informed gaming website Dualshockers that Black Ops II will have a live-streaming function included with the game itself.
"Black Ops 2 will now have a live streaming feature built right in," the supposed tipster told the site. "You can automatically stream your gameplay over the internet easily. You would require a camera though for the feature that shows your face. This may or may not work with Kinect."
The rumor may indeed be true with Treyarch game design director David Vonderhaar talking up the E-sport applications of the studio's upcoming release.
