Just wanted to make this post to say well done and good work to everyone who participated in the discussions and trial and error'ing leading up to the SOPA/PIPA blackout itself that just passed.

The speed and determination that was put into Forum:SOPA/PIPA_blackout by everyone who contributed to it is genuinely very impressive. None of this would have happened without that sort of participation and discussion. Good stuff.

Excellent work by everyone involved in the discussion and implementation of the blackout. Even if there were a few mishaps with the blackout itself (originally, it could be overrided by disabling javascript, and monobook worked perfectly for logged in users), it still went better than, if not just as expected.

With one day of protests over, it's time to get back to work. So give yourself a quick pat on the back, and feel happy that you have been part of making this protest possible. Happy editing!  FANMADE_Animated_Derpy_Hooves_desktop_ponies_sprite.gif Sig1.png Sig2.png  02:00, January 19, 2012 (UTC)
