Many nominations for UoTM tend to look at the nominee in general. This doesn't come into UoTM nominations. The title of User of the Month is just that - User of the Month. You were judged to do the most good for the month you were nominated for. Not because of your overall achievement.
UoTM is something to be proud about. Out of hundreds of editors, you were deemed to be the greatest help for your month of nomination. You're not UoTM because of your overall achievement. If you were, what would that mean? Nothing. Being nominated for admin/bureaucrat is when you're being recognised for your overall achievement.
This post is to mainly serve as a reminder to both the nominators to nominate for edits in the past month, and as a reminder to the actual users of the month about what the title actually means.
