When you have a suppressor equipped to a weapon the range and damage levels go down. Shouldn't it be the opposite? The range should be increased (longer barrel), but I guess the slower speed of the bullet counteracts that. Also, shouldn't a suppressor increase bullet damage due to slower speed? If a bullet passes through an enemy it's a waste of energy and therefore less effective. Bullets should stop inside the target. The worst thing to happen for a sniper is for a bullet to pass through a target without expending all of it's energy. Am I wrong? Any thoughts?
