According to Major Nelson's weekly xBox live activity for the week of May 14th, the latest sensation has overthrown Call of Duty from the top of the list. Ever since Call of Duty: Black Ops was released, it held the top spot, only relinquishing its spot to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 when it was released. Until recently, Call of Duty has had an iron grip on the top two most played titles on the xBox. While Modern Warfare 3 is still in the top spot, Black Ops has been beaten by Minecraft: XBOX 360 Edition.

The figures come from Major Nelson's weekly listing of the top xBox live activity, where it counts the number of unique users, worldwide, that are playing while connected to Xbox Live.
