Rules Edit

The full ruleset can be found here.

  • Standard FFA rules
  • Specialist Strike Packages only
  • Failure to show up for two matches unannounced results in disqualification
  • Incivility, cheating and boosting are grounds for disqualification

It is the responsibility of each group leader to provide the scores for each groups to the appropriate organiser for each platform (Sam for Xbox, myself for all others). Failure to do so may result in the particular group's results being voided.

Organisation of the Event Edit

  • Please arrive for the event at least 10 minutes before it is scheduled to start. This is to ensure everyone is there for the 6PM UTC start time, and so I can organise any emergency substitutions.
  • Each group consists of five games, followed by a three-game knockout stage, then a single game finale.
  • After all groups have finished their games and relayed the scores to me or Sam, I'll tweet out the results via the wiki's Twitter (@Call0fDutyWiki) and post them in a blog post.
  • While Sam and myself are pooling the results, there will be approximately a 10-15 minute window for the groups to wind down and play whatever gamemode they wish.
  • Once the second stage is organised, players will be notified in several ways:
    • Joining the wiki's chat or IRC channel is the fastest way to be notified.
    • I'll tweet out all the information for the groups, so be sure to follow it.
    • The blog post will be updated.
  • Once the groups are organised there will be a further three games:
    • Map rotation:
    • Point allocation:
      • 1st: 10 points
      • 2nd: 8 points
      • 3rd: 6 points
      • 4th: 4 points
    • Two top scorers proceed to final.
  • The final is a single game on Dome with no score limit. The ten minute time limit is the only deciding factor. Most kills in that period wins.
  • Medals will be handed out to all participants within 2-3 days.

FAQs Edit

  • Why is X item banned?
The rules are designed to create an equal playing field for all players. The tournament is focused around a player's skill with a weapon, not their ability to use a laptop.
  • Ban X weapon! It is OP!
Singling weapons out as overpowered is a matter of opinion - give the right player any weapon and it can be considered overpowered.
  • I dropped a MOAB, do I get bonus points?
No.
  • I can't make the start of it/I cannot attend, what do I do?
Notify your group leader, or myself. The group may be able to delay the start, but they won't wait forever.
