Though I like the fact they're re-implementing maps from BO1 in BO2, I am not so sure I like the "re-imagining" part. I liked the maps the way they were. For example, Summit was perfect because of the mountain landscape, and Firing Range had a good enough setting (and for historical nuts like me, the map was interesting enough set in Cuba with all its outside the map vehicles). Re-imagining them in new locales and themes seems to take away from the memory and enjoyment of playing these maps on BO2. We've already seen Myanmar in Drone, so using it again in Uplink seemed a bit...unoriginal. And come on, a movie studio instead of a firing range on Studio? Interesting, but I liked the original better. At least in MW3, IW let us have a farily unaltered Terminal back...for free!
But I can understand their desire to explore new locations and be creative on the new maps, but as they say, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I think that sums up how I feel about the re-imagined maps.
I know I'm probably nitpicking, but I would like to know your opinions on the matter.
