How I would have balanced MW2 Part 2
I was going to get around to it eventually, but on Cod4's request I suppose I can get off my ass and do this. Today's post will be about Equipment and Killstreak Rewards. Weapons will be in part 3, which will be very long and in-depth.
First lets talk about Killstreak Rewards. I will not list the Killstreak Rewards that I would not change.
Tactical Nuke: Removed from the game. Although I love using this Killstreak Reward and have no issue with it being used against me, I hate what it does to players. Now, of my 3 nukes, there was only one where I camped a decent amount, but even for that one I found myself flanking the entire team every time I changed sniper spots. But when a bunch of people are going for nukes, it changes the game too much.…
Medal of Honor series goes modern
For anyone who hasn't seen it, there is a trailer out for Medal of Honor, which is going to be a modern shooter. My first thought was that it would be a total rip-off of the Modern Warfare series, especially given the interesting history between Infinity Ward and Medal of Honor. However, after watching the trailer, I definitely feel that this will be far superior to anything that Infinity Ward could EVER make. The graphics in MoH are so much better than MW2 that I almost threw up when I mentioned them together in the same sentence. There will also be actual destructible environments. How I would have balanced MW2 Part 1
This will be my first post in a series on how I would have balanced MW2. Sure, it's kind of pointless, but I just want to have this appear somewhere, and of course discussion is always fun. If I say that I would remove something and do not provide an explanation or alternative, it means I just find it stupid and feel that it doesn't fit in with the game. Today's post will just cover Perks and Attachments.
Perk 1
Marathon: No changes.
Pro: Switched with Lightweight Pro, which halves the delay between when the player stops sprinting and when they can start shooting.
Sleight of Hand: No changes.
Pro: Reload while sprinting.
