Hello guys, Jimi56 here. Today, I want to share my opinion on what the next Black Ops 3 zombie map being remade might be. People say Moon or Shangri-la, but I've yet to here a somewhat strange zombie to be remade.Call of the Dead
You may be wondering, why Call of the Dead? Here is mainly why.
If you go back to the Giant, we hear Dempsey tell Richtofen to awaken the test subjects. From what we can guess, this could most likely be the old versions of Takeo, Nikolai, and Dempsey. Where Richtofen experimenting on them? In Siberia/ CoTD. One more thing is the main thing for this area, The Golden Rod. In order to get the golden rod, we had to sacrifice a human. Gee, I wonder why that sounds familiar??? Richtofen has the summoning key, which might allow him to sacrifice someone easier. Btw, do you think Treyarch would pass up on the opportunity to put ANOTHER snow map for the Origin's crew. Now let's look at why they would remake it from a gameplay stand-point.
Call of the Dead is a fan-favorite, just like Der Reise. Most fans consider CotD to be the best map in BO1. There is definitely a crowd that would like to see this map get remade. Another reason is to fix the problems already present in the map.
1. The fog: Just like Tranzit, I get the feeling that the fog was implemented as a technical shortcut to make the map look good and run better. Since these next-gen consoles are more advanced, they could remove the fog, so we can see it better.
2. (Maybe) The Triumphant return of PhD: 1 word... Scavenger. They're either gonna have to nerf it, or add PhD. Sure we have Danger Closest, but it only lasts three rounds. I really don't care, I just want my PhD, man!
3. No George: George is one of my favorite bosses. I love his rewards, but I personally think he ruined the co-op experience. It wouldn't make sense to have George in this map, as it would be before CotD. I feel this move alone could inspire Treyarch to remake this map
I hope you guys understand where I'm coming from. I just really like CotD, and want a remake. Thanks for reading, and I'll see you next time.
