Accurate Replacements for Black OpsEdit

For those of you who complain about weapon inaccuracies and prototypes in the wrong eras, here's a list of replacements for some of the inaccurate weapons of Black ops. the weapon name on the left is the inaccurate weapon while the name to the right is the correct replacement for the weapon. Note: Please remember that this blog is for people that are complaining about inaccuracy so please keep any comments against this (such as stating that this is just only a game) off the blog. (work in progress)

Operation 40Edit

  • M203 grenade launcher - none
  • M60 - older M60 model (model used in Black ops is incorrect)
  • RPG-7 - RPG-2
  • RPK - Cristobal carbine
  • ASP used by Cuban police - TT-33
  • KS-23 - Winchester Model 1912 or 1897
  • M67 grenade - M26 grenade
  • M16-M14 with M31 HEAT rifle grenades

VorkutaEdit

  • M67 grenade - Fl grenade
  • AK-47 - AKM
  • GP-25 grendade launcher - none
  • KS-23 - DB shotgun
  • Minigun - GShG-7.62 in man-portable custom config

U.S.S.D.Edit

  • M16? - Remington 870, holstered M1911A1s, or revolvers (such as the Colt Detective Special, for example)

Executive OrderEdit

  • MP5K Prototype - Madsen M-50
  • PM-63 - Stechkin APS (only some should be around as this weapon was mostly used as reserve only)
  • KS-23 - DB shotgun
  • Valkyrie - Malyutka wire-controlled

  • M16 with Masterkey - M16 with XM148 experimental launcher
  • M60 - model change to older M60 model rather than M60E4 model
  • AK-47 - magazine change
  • RPK - model change to RPK, not model of RPK-74 as used in-game
  • Stakeout - Winchester W1200
  • A few Commandos and M16s (way too much) - M14 LMG version

  • SPAS-12 used by player - Remington 1100
  • SPAS-12 for NVA- DB shotgun
  • Grenade launcher on Commando - XM148 experimental launcher
  • FN FAL used by NVA - SKS (including Russian and Chinese versions)
  • M60 - change to older model rather than model of M60E4 as used in-game
