Why I don't like Treyarch.
I get asked a lot why I don't like Treyarch and bash them alot. If your a fan of 3arc please don't read this page as you won't like it. Also, please refrain from comparing 3arc to IW. This is not about what IW have done wrong (which is alot) its about what Treyarch have done. Also these are my sole opinions.
The first CoD I got was the UO expansion pack, as it was cheap. The original CoD and CoD 2 kept me entertained for hours, and really developed my affinity for Infinty Ward. I was therefore a trifle reluctant to let 3arc develop a game, and unfortunatley my trepidations were correct.
CoD3 was weak compared to the IW games. For a start to even play it I had to buy a console as they didn't release it on the PC, which was dissapointing. I ha…
What's your least favourite campaign mission in CoD?
You can say any you want, but CoD4 onwards is better as more people have played them. My least favourite mission is Goalpost from MW3, very boring and predictable. Also a bitch on veteran. Close behind would be the entire American campaign from WaW (repetitive). My favourite mission is All Ghillied Up by quite a margin; its the only true stealth mission in CoD history and has the perfect setting (Chernobyl). I also like Black Cats from WaW, new and fresh.
A Letter to Infinity Ward
About 10 minutes ago I got my second MOAB, and as soon as the match ended I went to watch it in theater. As I left the lobby the game glitched and disconnected me. When I re-signed in the MOAB game was gone along with about an hour of other gameplay. This is about the 10th time my stats on this game have been deleted and to be honest i'm at a loss. Once again IW make a fantastic game but just has one or two problems which put me off it.
1. The most frustrating thing in this game for me is the connection. I have a very strong connection which frequently leads me getting host, which was a godsend in previous CoD's. However in MW3 it is nothing but a hindrance. Every new lobby I join I instantly become host and my score collapses. I beg you to…
My Review of MW3.
Before I begin, im going to remind everyone that these are my own personal opinions. I encourage you wholeheartedly to comment if you disagree with anything i've said.
I was so excited for this game. I had two science A level resits the day this came out and remember glancing up at the clock during my three hour Physics paper and imagining that in a few hours time I would be playing MW3. Now I just feel cheated and let down, and this is why:
Campaign: I very much enjoyed the campaign, but it certanitly did not do the hype justice. What I despretley wanted was a stealth sniper mission akin to All Ghillied Up, but that did not happen. The TF141 campaign was pretty good, but the American missions were (as usual) boring and repetitive. Typical A…
Anachronism in weapons in Black Ops.
Before commenting negative bile, hear me out. Much is made of "realism" in games, but the most basic, basic thing is to have guns from the correct time period. Black Ops is found horribly wanting in this particular area.
So here's a list of guns that basically should not have been included in Black Ops. Remember, Black Ops' campaign finishes in 1968, so therefore any gun after this period should not be there.
