"Security is a major focus for Modern Warfare 3, especially coming out of Modern Warfare 2. We will be utilizing multiple methods of Anti-cheat and Security methods, including Steam's VAC system, CEG, and our own propriety methods implemented to provide multiple layers of defense in keeping online multiplayer fun, fair, and secure for all players without limiting the control they expect on PC."

Worried that the console version of Modern Warfare 3 is getting preferential treatment over PC? Well have no fear, Robert Bowling has announced over the official website an FAQ page for PC gamers, with questions answered about commonly asked questions.[1]

Modern Warfare 3 is to feature much more PC support than its predecessor

The FAQ page is fairly comprehensive, talking about features such as LAN support, Remote Console support and Screen Space Ambient Occlusion, newly added rendering software that is exclusive to the PC version of the game. Rumors of features such as leaning were also knocked on the head, with Bowling reilliterating that "we [Infinity Ward] chose to keep lean out of the game to keep the gameplay experience universal across all platforms."
