Whilst it was assumed to be a given, Robert Bowling recently confirmed that there won't be the same level of character customisation in Modern Warfare 3 than there was in Black Ops, with Infinity Ward instead deciding to focus on gameplay customization such as camouflages and private matches.[1]
Going back to basics with Modern Warfare 3's customisation levels.For users who have only played Black Ops, this means that on top of no custom emblem editor, there will be no face paints, no specific character skins and no clan tag etches on your gun.
So yes, the obvious just got confirmed. That's about it...
