I have been inspired to write this blog post after reading a blog post about anachronism. People in the post were talking about historical accuracy and insinuating that the Cold War ended in 1969 with Black Ops. This could be nowhere further from the truth. The Cold War began shortly after the defeat of Nazi Germany and her allies in 1945, with formal relations between the United States and the Soviet Union (USSR) being cut off shortly afterwards. The Cold War officially ended in 1991 with the dissolution of the USSR and the formation of the Russian Federation. Thus, any time from 1946 to 1991 is perfectly acceptable for the game to not be considered anachronistic. Therefore, the Famas, which according to my cursory research to accomodate …

I was sitting at my desktop the other day, and I was thinking about the old forum I used to which I used to belong. On that forum I was a guidewriter, and I quite enjoyed making guides, both in video and type. I was wondering if anyone would want me to start writing guides again, about whatever topic you chose in the most current Call of Duty game. Even if this doesn't get positive feedback, I'll probably still do it.

I was doing a bit of thinking yesterday (always a dangerous activity) about the current perk system in Call of Duty, and I came up with two very different, but very similar ideas. One idea is similar to Homefront's system, and the other is more of an inventory system.

    System 1: The Homefront System

This system assigns point values to each perk that differ based on its power in the game. A player gets a total of four points, with which they can assign whichever perks they want. They get one more point at the halfway prestige (if there's fifteen, at 8th prestige, I round up). This system also has no pro perks.

    4 points

    Stopping Power=Extra bullet damage

Juggernaut=take less bullet damage (balances out Stopping Power)

    Danger Close=extra explosive d…

Stop whining. If you have an xbox, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Live, that's around 300 dollars spent right there. You or your parents obviously aren't short on money. Learn something about capitalism. I quote Atticus Finch "You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view - until you climb into his skin and walk around in it." If you were in Activision's position, with the ability to make a ton of money, would you? Of course you would. Money=Freedom. If you don't want it, don't buy it. It doesn't affect ANYONE other than you. So stop the bitching and moaning and go on with your lives. Be mature about this. Raging at Activision will not work. Being polite will. That is all.

So I thought that I would be incredibly original today and join the throngs of people writing these "wish lists" for the Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer. This will cover all of the portions of the game from modes to weapons and attachments. This will be an incredibly detailed list, and I hope that I do not get bored of it. There will be 60 levels.

    Primary Weapons

Assault Rifles (all have a fire selector except where noted, press down on the D-Pad to change)

    Low Power=4-5 Hit kill

    Moderate Power=3-5 hit kill

    High Power=3-4 hit kill

Low Accuracy=Similar to Black Ops Uzi

    Moderate Accuracy=Similar to CoD 4 AK-47

    High Accuracy=Similar to CoD 4 M4

Lvl 1: F2000 (default with Assault Class, see lower, same as MW2, less recoil, 30 rounds)

    Lvl 4: M14 (sin…
