I was on CGI:IRC earlier and I sent Joey some private messages, but he seemed to be AFK. Would ##joeyaa be accessable from CGI:IRC? That's the only IRC that will run for me without locking up my computer in epic lag, and it will only let you go to pre-allowed channels for Wikia wikis. I rarely check my email, also.

How about whenever we both seem to be on the Wiki at the same time, one of us gives the other a message on here to get on #wikia, and we can have a conversation then?

Box covers Edit

So, while I was looking for a relatively high resolution logo from the Call of Duty 3 cover to use to make an icon out of the three for {{topright}}, I started to come across some things.

You're a computer user, right? Well here is a German PS3 cover for Call of Duty 3, nearly identical to the cover of my copy for my 360. The strange thing I noticed is this. The back cover and actor on the front are different. Possibly a considered, but unreleased, design.

Here is what looks like an alpha cersion of the cover for Call of Duty 4. Could that be Jackson?

Here is what appears to be a British cover for World at War which wasn't made to be the actual cover. Though, looking on the back, I noticed two things: "resistant" is misspelled as "ersistant", and a period is missing between "before" and "harness". That makes me think it's just a really good fan-made cover, or that the designer wasn't a good proofreader.

As for here (warning: 7MB image), we have another cover that looks like it was considered but not accepted. However, on the back at nearly the bottom, it says "©2005 Activision Publishing, Inc". Ahem, I think that's the wrong year.

A few months before the World at War cover was finalized, I remember looking through Google's results for a cover of it. I saw a few different ones, but one that I remember the most was of an impromptu grave of a soldier with a wooden cross stuck in the ground, if I remember right.

What do you think? While I wouldn't be surprised if some of them were actually just exquisitely produced fan covers, I think that they are quite interesting to view. Sgt. Chiafriend^Rifleman 01:24, September 19, 2009 (UTC)

I plan on being active for quite some time, as I do most of my editing at work since I'm just sitting at a counter all day (I work at my uncle's gun shop and man the front desk, as well as do some gunsmithing). I try to take part in all community discussions, too. I had actually never planned on running for admin, but now that Chia nominated me and I'm closer to the tools than ever before, I definitely like that feeling, so I'll probably run again if I don't get it this time. Banners Edit

Earlier today I finished the first draft for a World at War banner.

After a little bit of thought, I figured it would be easier with image compilation if I used both Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 images for a modern banner.

I also had the idea of making one banner per game, but I quickly decided that I would not be motivated enough to do that. I still plan on making a general World War II banner, though.

Battle of Caucasus Mountains Edit

Help, someone known as AugFC is being a pesky nuisance for quite some time now, i made a edit on the SMR page saying that the model Treyarch used for the gun itself is based off of the real life Saritch 308. a Russian bullpup Battle Rifle manufactured by Tula Arms Plant. AugFC keeps vandalising the SMR page by removing a link I posted which explains the rifles origins. here's a link explaining the Saritch 308. I'll also send you the link for the image
