[edit] German Military?
Hey, is it you who's put the "under construction" tag on German Military? I guess I could look in the history, but are you going to change it about? I just saw you made the last edit and there is an "under construction" tag on it... Anyways, good work so far! Creepydude 17:20, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
edit: heh never mind, I see you just moved the article from "German military" to "German Military". Good work. ;) I think I can safely remove the "under construction" tag. Maybe even put a "stub" tag... Creepydude 17:23, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Fixed Sig
Just to let you know, I fixed my signature. Thanks for letting me know, that could easily turn into a disaster. Also, I changed the font, as it appears most computers do not have the "creepy" font installed... Anyway, I'm glad you let me know, and thanks!
- Hey, thanks for your edit, but I had already fixed it I think... Anyway, can you vote or give some sort of response? Just kind of like to know if you are getting these.
[edit] Adminship...
Hey, while you're active... Can you vote for or against Darkman 4 and I at Call of Duty Wiki:Requests for Adminship? If you agree, sign your name with the rest, if you disagree, make another subdevision below and make it "negative support." Voting is pretty important, so sign your name somewhere whether you agree or not. Deciding whether Darkman 4 and I should be admins or not could be as simple as looking at our edit counts and some edit examples and seeing if it will be worthwhile. Darkman 4 and I have agreed to both go for admin, as we both want the other in. Also, we could help each other get past the bumpy start of adminship. Currently, we don't really have any active admins, as they are only on once in a while. I am not trying to get you to vote for me necessarily, and I'm trying not to solicit, but we do need the community opinion no matter what. So... Thank you for your vote, every one counts. M/Sgt. Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here!

- Well, thanks for your response at least, and well, I think this is pretty much everybody's concern. What I like to use to back me up in a situation like this is the fact that Darkman 4, by far the best editor on this wiki, agrees with me being admin. Not only that, but the second most active user agrees. Notice the main page was updated? I went through and changed all of those. My edits are climbing quite fast, I must say, and although I do have quite a few change edits after I save the page, isn't really all that counts the fact that I'm always editing and changing? By the way, I also made a template box for the challenges in Call of Duty: World at War. I definitely understand your concern, but checking to see if I am a good choice by my edits seems... Almost funny. However, it is a legitimate and good thing to check, so I won't try to defer you. And really, this wiki is in desperate need of a few admins. I actually sort of suggested that Darkman 4 could become admin by himself if he wanted, but he said "You've done a great job so far, I can't see why you can't become admin as well." Also, if it means anything, you have my word that there will be no vandalism by me and no block wars. If I go through one block war, you can ask Chiafriend12 to block me. Now, obviously anyone can come out and say that, but at least I had a "threat of block" to back me up. :)
- I have no doubt that this will be a severe probation period, and you know, the only reason I even thought about becoming admin is because Chiafriend suggested that I try for admin, because I had to keep asking him if he would lock a page and do some things that only admins could do. He was really the only "active" admin, and he told me that "If the community's responses are positive, then talk to him and he would SYSOP us. Anyway, I'll stop trying to change your opinion, but make sure to cast your vote one way or another. Thank you, M/Sgt. Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here! 16:05, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
- Hey, just thought I would let you know that RFA's are ending soon. Everyone who voted left a positive vote. I think you are the last active user who hasn't voted. Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here!
- Interesting vote. Well, it's kinda nice that you voted "neutral/pending" as opposed to "oppose". However, I must say that I think you are thinking a little too deeply into this. You do realise that, because Rs4life07 is running for beaurocrat at the same time as my running for admin, if he sees ANY issues with me, he can not only relinquish my admin powers, but also ban me? Or maybe you just think I am underqualified? I suppose you could say that, and maybe I couldn't argue you about it, but really, I haven't seen any really major flaws with what I've done so far. I guess basically, I am wondering just why you disagree with my becoming admin. Do you want to take my place? Do you think/worry that I might vandalise? Do you think that making me admin with a small(er) edit count will lower the bar for people becoming admin? Do you think/worry that I might fight with other users or IPs? Or do you think that I am just underqualified as of yet to have that responsibility? If your response was the latter one, then I have an answer/question right away. What is the harm of me trying? Really. It's not like I'm going to be flaunting my new power, making changes everywhere and banning users, because I know darn well I will get banned. Like I said, it will be a probation period for me, and I will certainly be careful. Text is bold so you can see it although it is not at the bottom. Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here!
Hmm, definitely some good points, and I appreciate all your concerns. Really, I am not necassarily "anxious" to become an admin. Okay, well, if you had a very good chance of becoming an admin, then who wouldn't be anxious, but don't really have my heart set on being admin. Its just that I come here often, like VERY often, and I am prepared to continue with that dedication. Maybe in a year or so, my dedication will diminish a little, but for now, I just want to be able to help out this wiki. Now another thing to take into account is the fact that when I came along, there were literally no active admins here. Now we have one, and Darkman 4 will be two, then a third being me. I don't really think that 3 admins is "too many" and that it will unbalance things. So wind the clock back, when I asked to become admin. I was posting around looking for help for things like banning IPs for vandalising, deleting pages, and other admin stuff, and there was no-one to help. Finally, Chiafriend12 finally responded and said that he is not really able to help anymore, why don't I try for admin. So I asked Darkman 4 if he would become too, and we both tryed for admin. Then Rs4life07 happened along and responded to my request for help. This sort of prompted him to become an active admin, and following, a beaurocrat. I went along, updating the main page, because it had not been changed in ages, updating Call of Duty: World at War info, and things like that. So you see, now, although I could very easily not bother becoming an admin, I feel a sort of pride in helping this wiki to come alive again. So in a way, regardless of my experience, you might call it similar to when this wiki started out, and some of the other users were completely new to wikis and trundled along just the same. Then of course you have Darkman 4 and Azncutthroat who were always here, so the three of us keeping the wiki moving. Azncutthoat I don't think is really interested in admin, and he isn't on all THAT often; at least not as often as Darkman 4 and I. Oh well, I have rambled, but I just wanted you to see things from my point of view. Also, let me repeat, I really don't see what is wrong with 3 active admins. All the rest have unofficially resigned and passed on the torch. Bye for now, Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here!
[edit] Thanks for Zombie Mode Help
Thanks for your help on the Zombie Mode article. I was just merging that article with "Nacht der Untoten," so I hadn't proofread it yet. It looks like it become a very good article in the future, maybe a Featured Article someday... Obviously it would have to have a good going-over, but the content is looking pretty good. [edit] About Adminship
Hey, I don't wanna start a flame war, I'm willing to just let this drop. You have your opinion, I have mine. All I wanted to say was that I thought his opinion was too easily swayed by yours. My intention was not to talk about you behind your back. Maybe off of this I can get some rollback privilages or something... :D I'll come back with an admin request in maybe a couple of months. Merry Christmas! Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here!
[edit] IRC
Hey, yah I don't really have much time today, but I was basically asking for help or a tutorial how to work on the wiki theme. You know, on sites like Left 4 Dead Wiki and Gears of War Wiki, they all have a colour scheme, where as ours is all white. I don't know what a good one would be, but it certainly makes the wiki look better (not just to our eyes, but to attract peoples). What are your thoughts? Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here!
[edit] Review
In your first paragraph on your review of the wiki, you put "I won't this wiki to succeed". Did you mean "want", or did you mean "will not" (which doesn't even make any sense. 'I will not this wiki to succeed'?)?
Sgt. ChiafriendRifleman 05:53, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Re:Review
I understand what you are trying to say, but it is simply not that way. I am not really into edit count. I am happy to see my edits go up, just like I am happy to see my rank go up while playing Call of Duty: World at War. I hope (although you didn't say it) that you do not think of me as someone who is "only" interested in edit count, and is not trying to make the wiki succede. I really don't care two bits about my edit count if you think not putting stuff about it on my user page will make the wiki a better place. Oh, and what are you talking about? I always sign my postings. What's up with that? :( Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here!
- Oh, I have been just typing {{Signatures/Creepydude}} as per a suggestion from Rs4life07. I was doing the tildes and he got me doing it this way.
Besides, I have never even used the timestamp; and if I really need to know when someone typed it, I go in the history. But if you want it with tildes, sure.

[edit] Re: Community Portal
Good idea. Sorry I haven't looked at examples yet, as I have been working on the skin, but I'll do a search around and make a good one. I don't think it will take too long. What name should the template be under? Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here! 06:46, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

- Ok, check out the rough copy here. Any changes are welcome. Oh, and no problem about the recent changes spam; only thing is aren't you going to just change them all again with this new template, and we could just transclude the category onto the template? Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here! 07:07, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- Righto, sounds good! ;) I'm just setting up the new FA, User of the Month, and all the weekly crap on the main page. Tomorrow is both the start of a new week and the start of a new month. Hmmm, I wonder what a good poll would be... Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here! 07:11, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Re:Manual of Style
It is at Call of Duty Wiki:Manual of Style, created by Richard1990 and Kirkburn. As you can see at the top, however, it is mostly copied from WoWwiki and thus is not customised and complete. We can work on that. ;) Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here! 18:06, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- Ha, no problem. Just want to do a check-over. Man, after going through those, the first thing I want to do is create a POLICY FOR UPLOADING IMAGES! Something like: "Please read such-and-such to find out how to upload images. Please do not upload any images without reading it." Then we could have a manual or something that says exactly what to put in what situation, and that if you upload an image without a license, even if it is the "source is unknown" one, then it may be deleted. Now I see why manuals and policies are so important. ;) Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here! 22:56, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yah, we should make the manual ASAP. There are some users (no names mentioned) who are uploading images with no license and for personal use as well. :( Oh, and I laughed hard when I saw the image of Stalin with the license saying it was a screenshot from a video game. :D Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here! 23:06, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Need to hear from you ASAP
Ok, Sannse made a forum posting about switching to a new parser on the 17th. There is a list of pages for our wiki that need changing in some way or another. I am not totally sure how, but that is the error list. I believe it has something to do with the templates put on those pages, but I could be wrong. Please respond ASAP so we can get this worked out. By the way, don't forget to accept your nomination at COD:RFA. Oh, and something I should have said last night is that I will be on vacation from the 20th to the 28th, with very minimal/nil use of wikia during that time. [edit] Page glitches
Hey, I wasnt sure who to come to with this, but it seems that sometimes when people edit the Shi No Numa Quotes page, the layout gets messed up for some reason. Random bullets keep getting added, which makes the text impossible to read. I thought it was vandalism at first, but now i think it may be a bug with the new text editor thing wikia implemented a few days ago. Do you think you or another admin could please look into it when you get the chance? WouldYouKindly 01:13, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
- It's because of the silly new editor 'RTE' and it is known to do these things by itself. For that specific issue and page, I tested it myself and reported it. Thanks for helping! :) Joey - Talk Contribs 01:16, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

i found a mistake in the COD 4 story summary. it says that SSgt. Griggs was shot in the neck when he was in fact shot in the head.
[edit] Shi no numa redirect
24.238.218.224 made a page called Shi no numa when it used to be a redirect for the map Shi No Numa. Can you ban this IP and change the redirect back? Joem25 19:44, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
- I fixed the redirect, but I don't think it was grounds for blocking. Thanks for the report :) Joey aa 03:08, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Talk page script
Maybe wanna run that talk page script you got for your bot? Kthxbai, Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here! 04:34, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- I could. I wasn't sure if we wanted it here as I know BigM disabled User:Wikia here. I know I can get my script to even welcome users after they make one edit, when they create an account, or anything similar. I want to know what he thinks since he chose to disable it. :) Joey aa 04:43, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- Ok... I think yes on the talk page script, and quite likely on the welcoming script. Welcoming scripts are dumb, but these days we have lots of new users, and nobody is welcoming, so it probably would be a good idea. Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here! 05:09, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Problem template
Oh, also... Do we have a "This page has a serious problem" sorta template? I seem to remember something about that, but maybe it's just weird deja vu. Does such a thing exist (don't want the "problem report" thing)? Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here! 05:13, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- Template:Stub? I can't remember, you were here first :P Joey aa 05:16, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- Pahhggg! Not stub... I wouldn't forget about stub. >.> Creepydude Sniper Say Some'at Here! 05:20, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Unreal wikia

[edit] Thank you
Thanks for responding to that vandal (72.76.20.216) so quickly. God that kid was annoying. WouldYouKindly 04:22, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Re
Its not that I care anyway I haven't had free time to edit in over a year I've been doing very minor things, mostly merges, deletions ect but its not Wikia policy to stop a user from talking power? Normaly would have ignored this completely but now i'm on a mission to stop this Wiki from going to shit because Bigm bans/removes powers of people who don't agree with him. RoyalTheoryRetiredMod
- This is a local problem and Wikia staff will not get involved. Joey aa 15:24, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
I don't think we can tolerate this guy's name. He hasn't done any editing, so I guess it's ok to either ban him or tell him to create another account. -- Callofduty4 Talk
- Meh, tell it to the bot. Joey aa 10:35, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Okay, will do. WouldYouKindly 10:31, October 31, 2009 (UTC)
- Quick question, do you want me to notify you of deleted vandalism articles as well? (this for example) or just advertisers and the like? WouldYouKindly 04:45, November 3, 2009 (UTC)
- Just stuff that could be on other wikis. Joey aa 01:53, November 4, 2009 (UTC)
