Greetings from SOG, recruit. We're happy to have you aboard at the Call of Duty Wiki, so here's a briefing on how you can help:
Our policies are something you should get familiar with, so you can have a good understanding of our rules. You will find very helpful information on what is and is not allowed on the wiki.
Recent changes is a great second stop for beginners, because you can see what pages other people people are interested in, and which ones might need your talents! Also check out the Community Portal for a links to other useful pages!
The Sandbox is a great place to test things out if this is your first time editing wikis. It is advisable to know what is commonplace on the wiki, such as templates and categories, and how to use them.
Have questions? You can ask at the Help desk, or post a message on my talk page! Also feel free to contact an administrator; sysops' names are highlighted in green and bureaucrats' names are highlighted in cyan. But remember, my friend, we are all in this fight together, so feel free to ask anyone you like - we are always watching each other's backs!
Have feedback? The War Room is used to discuss changes to wiki or other community related issues. You'll need 50 main space edits to vote, recruit, but your opinion is still appreciated!
I look forward to having you here, my friend! It is always good to have another soldier on the front lines of editing!
Welcome to the Call of Duty Wiki. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions here, at least one of your recent edits did not appear to be constructive, and has been reverted. Vandalism includes, but is not limited to:
Removing information from articles
Spamming articles
Adding inappropriate/rude/offensive comments/pictures to articles
Creating spam pages
Uploading offensive/rude images
Adding incorrect information to articles multiple times
Undoing perfectly good edits
Renaming pages to incorrect/inappropriate names
Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and I strongly urge you to read the policy page to learn more about contributing constructively to this wiki. If you continue vandalizing, you will be subject to a block. Remember, we can easily undo vandalism with a few clicks of the mouse. Thank you.
Those are called userboxes, used to personalize your userpage. Ask Sp3ctr3 for help, he should be able to help you out. And sorry for not answering you earlier, didn't see it.DrkDragonz66TalkContribsCombat Arms03:04, June 9, 2011 (UTC)

You could go to the help desk about the userboxes, as they are very hard to explain in a message, and for the timer... I'm looking for it right now... and I can't seem to find it... You might want to ask on the help desk for that one too... _Sp3cTalk_03:20, June 10, 2011 (UTC)
You might want to ask Callofduty4 or Sp3c for a custom signature, you can have 2 images, one on each side of your name. Ask them for more details. DrkDragonz66TalkContribsCombat Arms01:35, June 28, 2011 (UTC)
Create Template:Signatures/Sgt. Collins, make it using HTML, and then sign using {{Signatures/Sgt. Collins}} ~~~~~. Callofduty4Octavia21:22, June 28, 2011 (UTC)
It's meant to be red, because you haven't created it yet... Callofduty4Octavia16:43, June 29, 2011 (UTC)
Um no... you click the red link and then create it there. Callofduty4Octavia19:07, June 29, 2011 (UTC)
I'm really not he one to ask about sigs. They're not too hard. Mine's relatively basic. You should probably ask callofduty4 or 808. PoketapeTalk 21:06, July 16, 2011 (UTC)
I noticed that at the top of your userpage, you have a quote from Captain Price. Do you want me to fix this up, so it looks more professional? (Using the quote template). M170Talk 20:38, July 22, 2011 (UTC)
Ok, I'm done. However, I checked your page's "views", and it says that 174 people have viewed you page. That means you SHOULD have that many signatures. Alas, mine is the only one there. Perhaps YOU should move it up a little higher, so people can actually see it. M170Talk 20:48, July 22, 2011 (UTC)
At the very bottom of your screen, there should be a toolbar that says "My Tools" on it. Next to that, it should say "Customize". Click Customize. One the right-hand side of the new window, search "Most visited pages". Now click "Save". At the bottom of the page, next to "My Tools", it will say "Most visited pages". Click it, and then search the page you want to see, and it will tell you how many people have viewed the page.
PS: There is alot of other tools that you can search in the "Customize" bar. For a list, go back to the "Customize" bar. Above it there is a link to "list of advanced contributer tools". This is a list of tools available for use.
PSS: The tools I use are "Most visted pages", "Orphaned pages", "Short pages", "Wanted pages", "Unused templates", Unused photos", and "Editcount".
PSSS: Hope I helped! M170Talk 21:38, July 22, 2011 (UTC)
Sorry for not responding earlier, but....your new signature is done! To view it, go here. Do you like it? If not contact me. Now do you know how to put it into use? If not, you have to go to "My Preferences", and scroll down to the signature. In the box, type: {{subst:User:Sgt. Collins/User:Sgt. Collins/Signature}}. Good luck posting! M170Talk 21:27, July 25, 2011 (UTC)
No offense, but I can't help but laugh. You don't sign using the "subst". If you read my entire message, you would know that you have to go to "My Preferences", and type that in there. If you did that but the sig still doesn't show up, then you must've forgot to check the little "Custom Signature" box underneath this. Don't forget to hit save changes! And you still sign using ~~~~M170Talk 21:50, July 25, 2011 (UTC)
Sorry, but I made a mistake. Don't type that in the box; instead, type: {{subst:User:Sgt. Collins/Signature}}. Please excuse the tiny mishap. M170Talk 21:56, July 25, 2011 (UTC)
Go to User:Sgt. Collins/Signature, and hit the edit button. The coding may look difficult, but if you read threough it, it is actually pretty simple. M170Talk 22:16, July 25, 2011 (UTC)
There's a time conversion link on the blog posting. It begins at 2:00 PM EDT. Please don't create War Room topics for simple questions, you can ask an admin for things like this. BovellTalk | Contrib. 16:20, August 27, 2011 (UTC)
Hey, how to create a blog is quite simple. If you go onto your user page or talk page, you can see tabs (userpag, talk, blog etc..). Click on the Blog tab and there is a button there to create it. However, to get it on the front page you may have to ask one of the News Team.TheDocRichtofen (Talk) 14:39, September 16, 2011 (UTC)
So you are not using ~~~~? TheDocRichtofen (Talk) 14:40, September 20, 2011 (UTC)
Continue using the four wiggly lines, regardless of what it says. If that still doesn't solve it, I'm afriad I don't know how to fix what you are describing. TheDocRichtofen (Talk) 11:48, September 21, 2011 (UTC)
If it's about typing your name within a link, note that it's Sgt. Collins, not Sgt.Collins. - MLGISNOT4ME[Talk] - 14:22, September 21, 2011 (UTC)
I'm happy that you are editing my wiki, as I have abandoned it. You can find me at the Rucka Rucka Ali Wiki where I am the active founder, so contact me there, instead. I will make you a 'crat on the CoDTactics Wiki, so good luck! I also won't be found on the COD wiki too much anymore either, so get me at rucka.wikia.com! {{subst:User:Mace170/Signatures}} 21:06, September 30, 2011 (UTC)
