Welcome to the fight!

Our policies are something you should get familiar with, so you can have a good understanding of our rules. You will find very helpful information on what is and is not allowed in them.
Recent changes is another great first stop for beginners, because you can see what pages other people people are interested in, and which ones might need fixing.
The Sandbox is a great place to test things out if this is your first time editing wikis. It is advisable to know what is commonplace on the wiki, such as templates and categories, and how to use them.
The War Room is a good place to stop. You can find out about changes that are happening with the wiki, and once you have 50 mainspace edits, you can vote there!
Want to know if you have enough edits to vote, or just find out your editcount stats? Visit Special:Editcount/Ultimate94ninja.
Have more Questions? You can also ask at the Help desk, or post a message on my talk page! But remember, we're all in this fight together, so feel free to ask anyone you like - we're always willing to help!
Need more help? Look no further than the Help Directory. You can find assistance with almost any topic on Wiki editing. You may also place {{helpme}}, followed by a question, on this page in order to get direct assistance from another user. You might also want to post on the Forums, as many good soldiers will be found there, willing to help you out.
Also, please do not add real life info to articles. It is not allowed.
One more important thing to remember is to always reply to a post on your talk page on the user who posted it there's talk page. That way they will know you are trying to talk to them.
Different members of the wiki are distinguishable in the recent changes by color. Wikia Staff are gold, Wikia Helpers are purple, VSTF members are silver, bureaucrats are light blue, and sysops are green.

What did you use to get your source for the Stoner edit? Was it in the game files? - Crazy Sam10 Talk PollPersonal Crazy sam10 Shadow sig 16:33, October 14, 2011 (UTC)

I also did some testing on the Stoner and M16. after timing 30 rounds fired 5 times I found the M16 averaged at 677RPM and the Stoner (SP) at 741RPM, this shows the M16 and the Stoner (SP) do not have the same RoF, testing did confirm the 2 stoners (SP & MP) do have different RoFs, but the Stoner (SP) is still faster than the M16. - Crazy Sam10 Talk PollPersonal Crazy sam10 Shadow sig 17:25, October 14, 2011 (UTC)

Don't delete discussions Edit

Hello, Ultimate94ninja. It has come to my attention that you have recently deleted part or all of the text on a talk page, that was not vandalism. This is a violation of one the policies on the wiki, seen here, in which you can not delete discussions from a talk page with exception of obvious vandalism, flaming, or spam. If you would like to archive your talk page, please ask an administrator. If you continue to delete discussions off talk pages, you will eventually be subject to a block. Thank you for understanding, have a nice day!

No Real Life InfoEdit

Hi, and welcome to the Call of Duty Wiki! There's a lot to do around here.
We really appreciate your contributions here, but we have a no IRL, or no "In Real Life" policy. IRL pictures are also not allowed in articles but they are allowed for personal use.
If you feel that your IRL information is beneficial, you can ask at the Help desk or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, or post a message on my talk page! Also, please review our policies so that you understand them completely to avoid any future mistakes.
If you have any other questions, feel free to contact an administrator for help. Sysops names are represented in green and bureaucrats names are represented in cyan.
Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything!

The whole TDI KARD thing is complicated, I guess. Technically, the full name is the KRISS G1 Mk.II KARD, but it's more commonly known as the TDI KARD. But because TDI changed their name to KRISS a while back, I always call their products by the newer name rather than TDI. The "G1 Mk.II" thing is due to the fact that there's multiple versions of the KARD. Simply calling it the TDI KARD could mistakenly also refer to this weapon. Oy2ru.png

But to be honest it's not really a big deal, I just don't really like it when people refer to it as the TDI KARD because TDI had already changed their name to KRISS by the time the KARD was produced. Just a bit of snobbery, I suppose.

The Vulkan, on the other hand, is a trickier thing. Like you, I've looked for information on the internet about it but there doesn't actually seem to be any. The information I do have comes from a book; it has a brief mention. All I know is that it's Ukrainian, it's a prototype and it's chambered for 5.45x39mm rounds. Oh, and 'Vulkan' is Ukrainian for 'Blaze'. It does look remarkably similar to the SMR from Black Ops II, but I don't know if it's supposed to represent the Vulkan, as it's mentioned in Zombies that the SMR is chambered for .308 rounds. RE:Olympia 72/Beretta 682Edit

Well if you look on the Wikipedia page it clearly states that is the weapon featured in Black Ops, therefore it is the most reliable page. If the weapon just so happens to not be called "Olympia" it doesn't matter. Just because other weapons do have links to guns with similar names is irrelevant. 22:21, January 11, 2013 (UTC)

Re: Valkyrie Launcher Edit

Whatever. I'm not an expert in these things (and you seem to be more into this "what tier each weapon is" stuff), so do what you wish. -- Personal MLGisNot4Me Mk 48 MLGisNot4Me talk

Firstly, how could you get the game files for a gun that's not on PC? Secondly the AN-94 has no burst delay and maintains it's RoF, it doesn't drop. And Lastly it incorrectly states the SMR does 59 damage when it does 55. On top of that it incorrectly states the reload times of the LMGs, which I have tested myself and they do not match the stats you are quoting. I have seen that forum and it claims "From game files and personal experience", as such most of the stats are merely from this persons experience and I have very little reason to trust it when my own research proves otherwise. 14:57, February 10, 2013 (UTC)

B23R Edit

There was a big debate about this awhile back and now we judge links by the game file naming apparently, although I think you were right to remove the link.

The game files list the B23R as the "beretta93r", the MTAR as the "tar21", the Type 25 as the "type95", the SMR as the "saritch", the MSMC as the "insas", the Chicom CQB as the "qcw05", and the XPR-50 as the "as50". As you can see, it's pretty obvious that the game files were named before Treyarch had even decided on which guns they were putting in the game. Bar the SMR, which has already been heavily debated, I think the fictional guns should either have Wikipedia links to the guns they're actually modelled on rather than the game file naming, or no links at all if they're completely fictious (XPR-50, B23R).

As for the Type 25, I'm really not sure. It is technically fictious, but early gameplay footage and the general appearance of it make it pretty obvious that it's based on the QBZ-95. If you want to add the link, go ahead. Executioner Menu Icon BOIIAugFC Talk Page 20:24, March 18, 2013 (UTC)

"Why? It's actually an EOTech sight in BO2"Edit

Because it originally linked to the Wikipedia article instead of ours. Which is COD:IRL. 13:25, March 23, 2013 (UTC)
Because I did what I normally do after an incorrect edit, I clicked "undo". Please don't treat me like I don't know what I'm doing. 13:36, March 23, 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation problems Edit

Saw your summary and thought I'd answer. The templates constantly change because occasionally some users such as me run a bot to fix certain things, such as image filelinks, on articles. It usually not only does its assigned thing, but some other minor fixes as well. One of those fixes is changing {{For}} to About, which isn't coded correctly on this wiki (I tried to fix it, but I'm not a code monkey just yet so I only managed to make it slightly better than it was before but not perfect). The bot changes that because the bots are run by AutoWikiBrowser, a program made by and for Wikipedia users, where About is used. -- Personal MLGisNot4Me Mk 48 MLGisNot4Me talk

Re: Talk pages Edit

I inserted input to all your linked talk pages. Also, I can't 100% confirm right now, but from my experience I'm pretty sure the Sliq is semi-automatic. It's that or full-auto, and I doubt it's the latter. -- Personal MLGisNot4Me Mk 48 MLGisNot4Me talk

Does the AN-94 and HAMR really have the same fire rate? I never feel any difference between them. —Unsigned comment was added by MK48

Hmmmm, interesting. I say edit the M14 EBR as they are kinda the same thing. But leave the ghosts name as a redirect for the other page. 132527029757.gifArgorrath おしゃべり%E7%95%B0%E8%AD%B0%E3%81%82%E3%82%8A.jpg21:31, August 14, 2013 (UTC)

Image concernEdit

I go a question to ask you, the image you uploaded, this, lost the image from the cache. And I was wondering if you can try to reupload the image, thanks. 132527029757.gifArgorrath おしゃべり%E7%95%B0%E8%AD%B0%E3%81%82%E3%82%8A.jpg21:17, August 21, 2013 (UTC)

The page nameEdit

Wikia see the "/" as a subpage for the page for the page in question. So things like M16A4/Attachments is what they are used for. So things like the MG08/15 recognize the "/" and function the same as all of the other pages with these. I changed it to MG08 so that the dumb "/" coding won't affect the page. 132527029757.gifArgorrath おしゃべり%E7%95%B0%E8%AD%B0%E3%81%82%E3%82%8A.jpg11:57, September 4, 2013 (UTC)

Re: KSG Edit

The fact that they had about an even amount of votes doesn't matter; the consensus tinted towards the Split, because my point pretty much made the thing clear. It tells something that all the votes after mine came to Split (apart from Recon's one, but he didn't even elaborate anything). Besides, I doubt there would have been much more votes anymore, it was completely unedited for one month. -- Personal MLGisNot4Me Mk 48 MLGisNot4Me talk

Only "problem" (not really a problem, just a heads-up): Perk images should be called "File:Amplify menu icon CoDG.png" (or Menu Icon, both are good). Adding "Perk" to names is not really needed.
