Vinson was a member of Shadow Company, a squad member of Butcher Seven. He was sent along with Lambert to investigate the loss of contact with Disciple Five. While he is never directly identified he is most likely one of the Shadow Company soldiers seen leaving the cave in the beginning of the level after the player enters the cave, meaning that his weapon is either a SCAR-H or an ACR.

• Vinson is most likely named after Infinity Ward employee Rayme Vinson.
• Vinson and Lambert could be the two soldiers with searchlights you kill at the bottom of the stairs, just before Price kills the guard at the top of the stairs.
