Wall Breach
Talk2this wiki

Added by HighOnBambooA Wall Breach is a glitch or error in Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Wall breaches, to some players, are a form of cheating. A wall breach is when a player moves to a wall or rock and jumps left to right or vice-versa. By doing this, the player can enter the wall or rock and still be able shoot other players without being shot back at. In most wall breaches, if the player ventures too far, he/she will fall off the map as the mappers did not anticipate the player reaching that point. Because of the vehicles in Call of Duty 3, nearly every map has at least one wall breach.

Eder Dam
Edit
On the South East side of the center bridge is a garage. If a player gets in a motorcycle, backs it up against the outer right side of the garage and gets out, the player will go through the wall and be under the building. When combined with a Support and Medic class, the players can stay underground.

Overgrown
Edit
In the middle of the ravine, to the right of the ramp that leads up to Grandma's House, is a spot in the rock that sticks out. If the player repeatedly jumps while moving left and right, he will eventually go through the rock. The player must be very careful however as the safe ground through the wall is for short and the player can easily fall off the map and die. If standing in the glitch, the player's head will slightly be sticking out. A good sniper may notice this and take advantage of an easy headshot opportunity.
Call of Duty: World at War
Edit
Roundhouse
Edit
If the player goes to the Eastern side of the map with the Train Station, there are many pieces of rubble on the ground. If the player goes prone at a certain bar on the ground and does the standard left-right, he will fall through the map and be invincible to all fire from above. This spot has a perfect view of the bridge above. This glitch, however, was only available during the Beta and was patched for the open release.
Castle
Edit
At a small staircase at the South end of the map near the shrine. Do the standard left-right and crouch. Eventually the player will fall under the map and below the area with the shrine. This spot gave a good view of the main castle top story but has been patched.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Edit
Wasteland
Edit
The wall breach in Wasteland is by the entrance to the middle of the map by flag B(if playing on domination). The breach is the bags of sand to the right of the entrance or the bunker. First the player jumps, and after jumping once pushes up on the analog stick. The player should start jumping in the corner (in the right) then keep jumping slowly to the left until they reach the corner of the bags. If the player keeps jumping, it should be possible for the player to enter and see inside of the bunker. This has since been patched.
Rust
Edit
The breach in Rust is the pipe line with the scratches on it. First, the player starts jumping on the left side of the scratch and jumps slowly to the right. They should keep jumping until they enter the pipe. Once in the pipe, the player can move upward in the pipe to get a better view and can see clearly outside of the pipe, but the reverse is not true- other players cannot see the player. This wall breach has been patched.
Afghan
Edit
The breach in Afghan is in the little area in between flags C and A and on the outside on the entrances of the bunker in the middle of the map. It is the rock in the middle of that little section. A player in the breach can jump from right to left and once inside, can shoot oncoming players. This has been patched.
Terminal
Edit
The one in Terminal is in the engine (hanging for the wing on the plane, right next to B if playing Domination). Jumping from the left to the right will allow the player will enter the breach. This wall breach has been patched. When inside this wall breach, a player's feet are supposedly exposed, as they protrude from the plane.
Fuel
Edit
At the area with lots of rocks, one of the rocks is possible to breach by jumping up and down to the left. This is most likely the most used breach for users of the Resurgence Map Pack. This wall breach has, to an extent, been patched. One can still go through the rock, however, there is a death barrier in place.
Trivia
Edit
- The wall breach at Fuel is possible to shoot through without also breaching.
