Webley Mk IV revolver
From the Call of Duty Wiki
Used extensively through the armies of the British Commonwealth from 1939-1945, the Webley Mk IV revolver is a simple, no frills combat revolver. Firing a smaller 0.38-inch round than the World War I-era Webley 0.455-inch service pistol, the Mk IV is lighter, easier to fire and requires less training and practice to use. The Mk IV is so popular it remains in service in various parts of the world to this day.

The Webley is Britain's sidearm of choice in United Offensive. It has six rounds in its cylinder and has mediocre accuracy and does average damage. It is not recommended unless the magazine in your primary weapon is out and you don't have time to reload. This revolver has a slower reload time compared to the other sidearms, but in the right hands, it can be professionally used, and does the best damage of all sidearms.
This weapon can be very valuable for a bolt action user that need to get through a tight space. Since bolt-action rifles are awful in close quarters, a sidearm will give a player enough firepower and firing speed he needs to get through a building alive.

Exactly the same as it is in CoD:UO. Only appears once in singleplayer, at the start of the British missions of D-Day, in the mission called Crossroads. The revolver can be found, at the beginning, on a table to the right of the player.
The revolver is much adored by many nostalgic CoD2 players who enjoyed 'blowing away' their opponents.
[edit] Trivia
- In Call of Duty: United Offensive, the brass casings of the cartridges in the Webley are shiny, but in Call of Duty 2, the casings are much darker colored.
- In Call of Duty: United Offensive, the cylinder does not move when fired which is a key principle in the operation of a revolver.
